F.Boys
Full strength with Sherez shaking off a a knock to be included
S.Different
Without new signing Luke Maslin.
The game started with both teams playing some neat football. Something Different should have taken the lead as Dave Jones flashed a half volley just wide after good work by maestro Mike. It was F.Boys who netted first as a good passing move lead to Sherez slotting home. F.Boys continued to soak up the pressure as S.Different probed but to no avail however Mike showed his class firing low into the bottom corner to equalise the game continued to swing both ways but it was F.Boys who took a 3-2 advantage into the second half.
The second half started much the same as the first with S.Different commanding the middle of the pitch and looked very good going forward but for a change Dave Jones was struggling to find the goal.
After some excellent goalkeeping by 'Gremlin' F.Boys kicked it up a gear and found themselves
5-3 up courtesy of Sherez and Humzel. F.Boys found as in previous games that they just couldn't shut out the game as Dave Jones with a gem and Mike restored the balance and the game looked penalty bound but S.Different edged in front as Dave J struck again. But much to the dismay of manager Andy Watt Mike stepped into the no zone and F.Boys had the chance to level at the death and...... Shady dually obliged sending the keeper the wrong way. With that being almost the last kick of the game and the final whistle soon followed.
F.Boys failed to score any of their penalties leaving S.Different to move on into the next round
2-0 on pens.
