Premiership

Team News
City Rejects
Still have Rich Gould 'awol' and were missing 3 options in goals including 1st choice Sam.
Old Boys
Full strength with the returning Muzzi.

The signs looked good for City Rejects as they took control of the football and were catching Old Boys on counter attacks. They turned the pressure into goals as Joe netted a brace after excellent work by 'moggi'. Rejects looked in firm command as a disjointed looking Old Boys struggled to get into their 'Arsenal' style of play. Manager Jazz had decided to leave key defender Kim Green on the bench and this decision was proving costly as City Rejects continued to press.
The latter stages of the first half saw Old Boys go close as Amier struck the woodwork. Old Boys bought on Mr Green who instantly steadied a wobbly ship. Old Boys found their rhythm and Kim struck a slick shot from within his own half to take Old Boys just 2-1 behind.

The second half started fast with both teams sharing possession but it was the Old Boys who looked fitter as Rejects faded under the pace of the game Kim making it 2-2. An improved Mo who has it all to prove hit a well taken goal an was sandwiched between two magical goals by African ace Melusi to take Old Boys into a 5-2 lead. Rejects gave it one last assault getting to one behind Joe completing a hat-trick but their assault was short lived as Old Boys just grew stronger and poor defending gave Old Boys a 6-4 victory at the final whistle.

5star Promotion says: "City Rejects have avoided this fixture for a few weeks and the reason's why showed today.... Fitness but we are sure they will back to push Old Boys all the way to the final week"

City Rejects manager Terry says:
“We gave are all today but we knew it was an uphill task when we were without our first 3 choices for goalkeeper"

Shadows manager Jazz says:
"It was billed as a 'the battle for dominence' and it was certainly a battle. I decided to leave Kim out of the starting line up and Rejects punished us on the counter but we know our team is capable of beating anyone"
