Welcome to Sunday league round up. Every week we review the 'week' gone by in association with NEWS in BRIEF
Danny’s Boys 4 vs 9 Butterbean SC
End of Season Cup
Butterbean again showed their quality and even then they were down to the bare bones.
Still feeling the effects of a wonderful awards night the plums set about business in good fashion leading 4-1 at the break.
Man of the Match Cliff ‘Hollywood’ Darby was the spearhead of the Butterbean attack. The enigma has had a quite playing season but reminded the Plums boss just how much he is worth after speculation of a move back to City Seagulls has surfaced over the last few weeks.
Pudlians 17 vs 1 DX
E.O.S.C
Life can be tough for our newcomers and it was another uneasy night for Degeneration X.
Pudlians take every game with the means to win and were in no mood to spare DX a thumping, they took advantage of DX major defensive frailties but the suckling side can only improve and we expect that over the next few months.
Old Boys 6 vs 3 Indoor Milan
EOSC
These two meet again Sunday in the President’s Cup and we will again expect a top match. The last time these two meet was in that infamous
4-4 draw, this time round the mood was slightly calmer. Old Boys led 2-1 at half time and were always that little bit better than their counterparts and deserved the victory.
V.I.P’S 5 vs 1 FC Heat
E.O.S.C
FC Heat without keeper Luke Maslin and Craig through Hangover and Family commitments were taken apart by V.I.P’S.
Player manager Amo was on target netting a brace and he was supplemented by Carl Pick Up, Hayden and Andy.
The defeat for Heat means they miss out on qualification from the group, while V.I.P'S top it.
