Welcome to Sunday league round up. Every week we review the 'week' gone by in association with NEWS in BRIEF
Goes to Dennis of GSH for guiding his team to the Premiership and for being one of the best up and coming bosses in the Club Heat Leagues

The Business 3 vs 8 GSH
Division One Play Off
GSH have hit the big time in only their second attempt. The Business who in some quarters have overachieved this season but fully deserved their place in this first ever play off match. Both teams were understandably nervous before kick off but as soon as the whistle went it was game on. The First half was an excellent event as both teams played decent football but GSH just seemed that little more focused and organised and went 3-0 courtesy of the ever impressive Mark for GSH, usually a defender the international was showing his attacking abilities hitting two of the first three goals and basically having his way out there on the court and his performance was being more than matched by the rest of his team mates as The Business struggled to get to grips with their own game let alone GSH’s . They did manage to grab a late goal towards the back end of the half and went in 4-1 down. The second half was again dominated by GSH as manager Dennis Ludford displayed his managerial know how and he steered his team to a famous victory and with Dennis at the helm expect a very good first season in the top flight for the Goal Scoring Heroes.

FC Butterbean 8 vs 1 FC Heat
Inter League Cup
FC Heat was given a stark reality check as they were thumped by seasoned pros FC Butterbean. Leading One nothing at half time FC Heat thought they had done their job but how wrong they were. Now many under estimate the Plums but on their day they can beat just about anyone ask Excelsior, Never Enough and more importantly Allstar Revolution and FC Heat felt the full brunt off back in form Will who hit 5 goals and was stunning in the second half but the joy of the night was the emergence of Adam for Butterbean who done a fantastic job at the back and also hit two goals.

Indoor Milan 6 vs 5 S.Else
Inter League Cup
A fantastic encounter between two top sides when these two sets of players have their mind on football they produce a spectacle and this was one of them nights. The balance of play swung both ways through the game and Something Else could of felt a little unlucky not to be leading at half time as the two sides went in 3-3.
Hall of Famer Gavin Lee had been the reason his team Indoor Milan were level at the break but the second half saw Curtis Liburd take the place as the shining star and his power and pressure drove Indoor Milan forward and it was Lil Ash who secured a Semi-Final birth for the formerly named Lloyds Bar.

FC Butterbean 8 vs 7 Never Enough
FC Butterbean wrecked Never Enough’s championship party with another impressive season 06 victory. They added Never Enough to their legend killing list yes Never Enough were fielding a weaker line up than normal but that don’t take away the way they were dispatched by Butterbean who fully deserved their win.
City Rejects 1 vs 3 Playerz
Club Heat Cup semi-final.
Another disappointing night for City Rejects as they lived up to their tags as Sunday’s favourite Bridesmaids after another so close but yet so far type of season. Playerz were just to strong on the night and the loan signing of Young Muzzy was a stroke of genius by manager Jecko as the hot prospect dazzled when the ball was at his feet.
The win sets up a mouth watering final against Premiership champions and Club Heat cup holders Never Enough at the night of champions.
Playerz 8 vs 4 Allstar Rev
Allstars all but blew their hopes of second place as they suffered another heartbreaking defeat.
Four from Chucksee. Irfan (2) and two from young Muzzy did enough to subject Allstar Revolution to their 5th defeat of the campaign.
FC Heat 5 vs 5 Pudlians
End of season Cup
Two sides who have swapped Divisions come season 07 and this tie shows there is no real gap between the top and bottom of both divisions. The game was by no means pleasant on the eye but commitment and passion was fully on show and the result was the fair result.
City Seagulls 7 vs 13 Indoor Milan
Inter League Cup
A wider margined game than the score line suggests. City Seagulls president Nick Frost will now know what he has to do to make his team premiership friendly and can thank Indoor Milan in some ways because they showed the Gulls that you need to be real ruthless in front of goal if you want to be winners.
Never Enough 2 vs 4 Allstar Rev
Champions League Play Off
These two have developed a wonderful rivalry over the last two seasons and that ‘heat’ was again on show in this match. The first half was very close with Never Enough leading 2-1 thanks to two well taken Danny Thompson goals. However Allstar Revolution were not to be denied this chance of glory after seeing Never Enough pip them to the Premiership title and it was one of the pound for pound best that won it for them hitting a superb second half hat trick, take a bow Hamed.
Motley Barnets 4 vs 2 The Business
New Team Cup
Many have stated that the Barnets were finished well mark Sunday 22nd June in your mind as this was the date the Barnets finally arrived.
City Seagulls 5 vs 6Motley Barnets
End of Season Cup
Big ego’s, big names and friends clashed once more, this season.
City Seagulls have kept their foes firmly in their place with double league wins and a promotion to boot but all that glory didn’t mean squat in this game. Barnet’s fully fired up before hand from boasts from the Gulls President about his teams superiority were not to be denied in this clash. The game was very close throughout and the Gulls looked the better of the two but the will to win is what pulled Barnet’s over the finishing line and the bragging rights going into the Summer season.
City Rejects 10 vs 5 Danny’s Boys
End of Season Cup
Danny’s Boys put up a decent battle but were just outclassed by their Premiership opposition in this cup clash.
Toon Army 7 vs 3 St George Utd
End of Season Cup
Division One champions Toon Army were again sublime as they beat a usually resilient St George Utd. A St George spokesman told our reporters that manager Paul “Will return next Sunday after a modelling assignment in America for 'mens' magazine british boys” and that “Paul is looking forward to turning his team back into a winning one and celebrating in the showers with Never Enough”
