[Sunday Night]
Playerz 7 vs 7 Indoor Milan
League Cup semi-Final 1st Leg

What should have been remembered as the coming of Indoor Milan turned out a night to blacken their name after a number of players were involved in discipline issues which saw Lil Ash and Lil Dan both sin binned. The tie is still evenly in the balance but the only people who will be looking forward to the return are the players involved so let’s hope the two teams go back to entertaining and playing fair and good football.
St George Utd 6 vs 12 300 Spartans

A complacent or miss judged performance by St George allowed 300 Spartans to pick up some valuable 4pts. Spartans have not lived up to expectation but Sunday they showed their capabilities scoring has been the hardest part of the picture this season but Rob Morley (6), Hewitt (5) and one from Alec found the scoring touch
City Seagulls 5 vs 5 300 Spartans

Buoyant from their first win 300 Spartans went straight at City Seagulls and drew first blood and took a deserved 3 goal lead and Spartans went into the second half 5-3 to the good mainly thanks to keeper Mike Holloway who was having an outstanding game in front of the International scouts. City Seagulls showed why they are 5 a side veterans and used their guile and instincts to claw back and save 2pts for their quest in promotion to the top flight.

Wookies 4 vs 4 (p) Motley Barnets
N.T.C

A very tight game that could only be decided on Penalties and the villain of the day goes to Wookies manager Adam P for his sudden death miss.
GSH 10 vs 6 Toon Army

Toon Army’s grip on the 1st Division title is now on life support after they were roundly beaten by the impressive GSH. Pressure is a dangerous thing and some strive on it but some collapse under it and boy did Toon Army wilt under the pressure Sunday night. GSH used their manager tactics to a tee and that saw Toon Army get frustrated and took one eye of the matter in hand and this allowed GSH to eat them up like ravenous vultures and it was that Predator Mark Quinn who ate the most hitting 6 goals.
GSH 14 vs 3 St George

GSH manager Dennis may have just made the greatest end of season signing ever!! As he signed free agent and former Highlight of the Week Mark Quinn and the pint size striker repaid Dennis’s faith hitting 4 goals on his debut. Now Mark Quinn brings a lot of things to a team but nothing more than the spotlight and with his show lights on bright the rest of the GSH cast can also take applause for their part in this victory. Other GSH goals curtsey of Gavin (5), Hayden (3), Jez and Sanj
The Business 4 vs 7 Motley Barnets

Barnet’s manager James will be very happy with his team’s effort and victory Sunday night. Barnet’s have had an ok first season in the Sunday league and results like this can only build well for the future and if the Animal Carl Pick Up can stay out of the sweetie jar they might just have another 30+ goal a season man after the marksman hit 4 of the 7 goals for Barnet’s.
Never Enough 10 vs 1 R.S.V.P
Inter League Cup

A mere tune up match for the bigger games to come as Never Enough made light work off the Friday Premiership outfit.
The Business 4 vs 4 Toon Army

Toon Army are certainly living on the edge as they dropped another two points and really should have took none at all after Andy H hit the post in the final seconds but his effort crashed off the upright much to the delight of the Toon Army players.
Pudlians 3 vs 8 Cov Legion

This result effectively relegates Pudlians as Cov Legion back to full strength took their number. The game was an all action game as you would expect from these two similar styled sides. The returning Tompkins was again in devastating form in front of goal and his prowess allowed others to jump in on the act and even Ian ‘Iceman’ Clelland netted a cracking drive into the corner but it was playmaker Paul who ran the show for Legion who secured their own Premiership status for another season.
Danny’s Boys 10 vs 6 Crossbar

Crossbar gave another good account of themselves in this surprisingly entertaining game. Danny’s Boys lead 3-2 at half time and every goal was of spectacular fashion with Crossbar’s Joe half volley the pick of the 5. The second half Danny’s Boys got down to business and dispatched Crossbar with their highlight being a thunderbolt by the one and only TANK.
