City Rejects 2 vs 5 Allstar Rev

A must win game and Allstar’s done just that they come out in their usual fast pace which Rejects found hard to deal with as Waggas and Hamed started to cause problems. The two continued to pull the Rejects defence apart and at times the usually structured Rejects were all at sea with Gaz M finding himself all alone against the Allstars wave. The game continued in the same pattern throughout and the two mentioned done all the damage with Waggas netting 2 and Hamed a hat-trick. When the whistle blew Allstars genuinely now know they have a realistic chance of becoming champions once again.
Cov Legion 3 vs 7 Allstar Rev

Allstars knew they couldn’t afford any slip ups against an out of form Cov Legion. Legion boosted by the return of Dewer from an ankle injury were still missing their key players but were still in the game at the second half whistle but the rampant and focused Hamed again should his devastating finishing qualities and he and his team strolled to another important 4pts.
Never Enough 3 vs 8 City Rejects

Was viewed by many as the game which has no changed the destination of the Premiership crown, Go back a month and Never Enough were almost dead and buried while Rejects were the toast of the town and now after this game Never Enough with 3 games to go could do what many thought impossible and win back-back titles, Rejects are now counting the cost of poor of field decisions and now face the prospect of another season as bridesmaids

Playerz 11 vs 2 Fifty7 FC
Inter League Cup

Friday Division One side Fifty7 FC were unable to cause an upset and Playerz continue their quest of a season 06 clean sweep.
City Seagulls 4 vs 3 GSH

Red hot Joe Barr was again the showstopper as his dazzling display inspired the Gulls to this fantastic win. Both teams not noted for entertaining football actually produced a decent spectacle with the two teams showing why they are in the hunt for promotion but the man of the moment was the difference and the Gulls management will be thankful they have a star in their camp like Joe.
Indoor Milan 11 vs 2 FC Butterbean
League Cup 2nd Leg

A routine win for the ever improving Indoor Milan and they can now start to dream of silverware which will be a notch on the post of rookie manager Danny Bell who started the season in a hospital bed looking at the prospect off never playing 5 a side football again.
Old Boys 4 vs 5 Never Enough

Now a faded force Old Boys succumb to the rough house tactics of the defending champions. Last season was the passing of the torch? Well Sunday proved that.
City Seagulls 9 vs 2 V.I.P’S

A real dominating display by one of the team of the season candidates and have yet another 4pts to add the already impressive tally the Gulls have a massed.
The Business 5 vs 3 Butterbean SC

A Johnny brace and goals from Mike, Goth and Jason took The Business to their 15th victory off the season.
FC Heat 7 vs 5 Motley Barnets

Heat returned to winnings ways with a clinical display against local rivals Barnets. FC Heat will thank Jason Wigmore as the midfielder was the difference between the two sides.
Crossbar 3 vs 5 300 Spartans

Organisation is what got 300 Spartans through this game and coupled with some decent football Spartans deserved the 4pts they took home.
V.I.P’S 4 vs 8 Toon Army

Toon Army took another step to lifting the Division One title in their first season and despite missing leading scorer Carl they were still able to notch up a bag full of goals.
RSVP 7 vs 10 Mean Machine
New Team Cup

Two Friday teams commenced battle on Sunday in the Race to the Presidents Cup and the two produced a gritty affair.  RSVP’S were leading 4-3 at half time and looked decent money for the win but the never say die Mean Machine dug in their heels and Keeper Anthony was in splendid form and that rubbed off on those in front and they did the stuff to take Mean Machine one step closer to the Presidents Cup 06.
V.I.P’S 3 vs 8 GSH

V.I.P’S missing key players due to holidays were trounced by the bullish GSH. When Dennis’s team are in this mood they are unstoppable and could yet still gate crash the No1 spot in the division. Goals for GSH coming from Bob (2), Kev, Hayden and Gav (4) V.I.P’S replies from Amo, Scott and Andy Watts JR.
FC Heat 4 vs 5 300 Spartans

The surprise victory of the night as title chasers FC Heat whittled against a Dave Jones inspired Spartans.
Butterbean SC 7 vs 5 Danny’s Boys
New Team Cup

Butterbean SC boosted their confidence with this good win over a very capable Danny’s Boys. Butterbean never had it all their own way as Danny’s Boys went into half time 4-3 up. It was Ross and Will who made the difference sharing 6 goals between them and Danny’s Boys firepower solely resting at the feet of Steve E but Butterbean’s better quality moved them on in the competition.

4 vs 9 THE BUSINESS
Toon Army 5 vs 3 Danny’s Boys

Danny’s Boys can be a frustrating outfit at times they are blessed with individual talent and collectively as a unit they are functional but for some reason they fail to win close games and fade in the second half. They were holding Toon Army at half time 3-3 and some would say looked like they should go on and win the game but the second half jinx hit again and they failed to score and Toon Army were ruthless enough and have now one hand on the title.
