Allstar Rev 5 vs 5 City Seagulls
Inter League Cup

A game City Seagulls deserved something from. Despite being 5-2 down at half time the Gulls turned in a 'premiership' performance in the second half which bought them level with the their premiership opposition. But it seemed like lady luck wasn't shining on the Gulls after going out on penalties and even with them the Allstar's rode their luck with some very lucky penalties, the history books will say that Allstar's progressed and that's all that matters in the end
Cov Legion 4 vs 11 Never Enough

Many even themselves have doubted Never Enough, their heart for battle and the passion to stay at the top but what has also gone unnoticed is the fact that they are sitting very, very nicely in the league after this win and they are also through to the business end in all but one of the cups available to them. With rumors of retirement at the end of 06 could Matty Gee and Co really go out in style!!!?
Indoor Milan 5 vs 5 FC Butterbean
LEAGUE CUP 1ST LEG

These two rivals have had a similar history, both promoted at the same time and both with decent success on the silverware front so this game was expected to be close as many off the affairs between the two have been in the past but this was far from close as Indoor Milan gained the upper hand within the first half and never looked back and despite Lil Adam being sin binned for foul and abusive play Butterbean were just not at the races and now face a mammoth task in the second leg. That's if they even decide to uptake the challenge or will they throw in the white towel..... answers on a postcard.

Indoor M 4 vs  3 Cov Legion
Inter League Cup

Holders Cov Legion were knocked out of the competition by the much improved Milan. Danny Bell is putting together a formidable force and they proved again on Sunday their season could still end with silverware after a shocking start to season 06.
.
Old Boys 5 vs 2 City Rejects

Game on in the title race for the Premiership crown as City Rejects slumped to another defeat.  This time it hurt double as it was handed to them by their nemeses Old Boys. Old Boys were able to roll back the years and veterans Kim Green and Suki Singh were the pick of the bunch as Jazz celebrated a win that may just save his team from relegation!! City Rejects suffering a series of injuries to key players must now dig deep and show real championship class to keep control of their destiny.
Playerz 9 vs 3 M.V.P'S

Playerz qualified for a semi-final showdown with City Rejects after beating M.V.P'S. The game played at a very high tempo was a good jostle and Big Muzo was back to form after some average performances of late the big man controlled the game from start to finish.
Danny's Boys 6 vs 9 City Seagulls

Another confident victory for the impressive Gulls, goals from Lee K (6), Joe Barr (2) and one from International defender Darren doing the damage.
City Rejects 9 vs 5 Pudlians

Pudlians dropped ever closer to the 'drop spot' after a gusty display bought them no spoils. Man of the match Macca was superb for Rejects and took his 6 goals well, others supplied by Carl Morgan (2) and one from David Morris. Pudlians goals coming from Daz C (2) and Dec (2).
FC Heat 7 vs 6 St George Utd

Heat knew they faced a tricky encounter going into this clash after St George have been on a splendid run in the league. The first half saw more of a chess match with both teams showing good ranges of passing and team play but it was FC Heat who out passed St George in the end as the game picked up pace in the second half and Heat edged the game just. Tom Gault the star man.
Butterbean SC 8 vs 3 V.I.P'S

FC Butterbean selected Will as one of their senior players and the hitman obliged with a 1st class performance but his performance was outdone by in form keeper Dave Johnson. The 'clean sheet club' member recent displays have left many scratching their heads as to way the northern shot stopper is not an international.
FC Heat 7 vs 4 GSH

A battle of the promotion places took place as these two Division One heavyweights locked horns. GSH got the better of the first half just edging it 3-2 but the second half saw a glorious fight back as Heat went for broke and the inspired international Jason Wigmore was the man to pull Heat through the fire and gain the important victory.
Toon A 8 vs 10 Never Enough
Inter League Cup

Was the match of the night as our inter league cup bought together a premiership giant and the potential 06 Division One champions...Cue the action. An boy did they deliver as the game had everything tackles, top draw goals and even better keeper saves. The two sides swapped goals in the first half with the score line 5-5 but experience told and the premiership march on into the next round.
Toon Army 9 vs 7 GSH
REDS Cup

Despite the loss GSH qualify for the semi-finals and the victory still leaves Toon Army of an outside chance of qualifying but must now rely on 300 Spartans beating St George Utd.
Crossbar 1 vs 7 V.I.P'S

V.I.P'S made a winning start under their new name. Fielding senior players Ian 'iceman' Clelland and Mark Quinn the result was inevitable and the two new signings fitted in well alongside AW Jr and Scott and it was the latter who impressed most hitting 3 and being named M.O.M
Butterbean SC 3 vs 8 St George Utd

St George's dip in form didn't last long as they got the better of the Bean. The game was easy on the eye with both sides playing attractive attacking football and this may well be the reason for the goal margin because St George were just that more ruthless at the end of their attacking plays.
Danny's Boys 7 vs 2 300 Spartans

A wonder goal by TANK was the only real highlight in a pretty dour game. Both teams have been by their own admissions very inconsistent  this season and now the two club managers will be looking at next season as their time to shine.
Business 9 vs 4 300 Spartans

Business as usual for The Business as they notched up their 13th league win of a fantastic season so far.
