M.V.P’S 5 vs 9 Never Enough
CLUB HEAT CUP

A very weakened Never Enough side pulled out a massive performance against an in form M.V.P’S. ‘Legend Killer’ Mark Quinn was guilty of missing several chances in the first half of which M.V.P’S dominated but Never Enough showed why they won the Premiership in season 05 with a clinical second half show. Both keepers were excellent throughout but it was the Friday International shot stopper Matty Gee who again out shone those on show.
Indoor Milan 8 vs 3 Never Enough

Indoor Milan proved that they will be one of the best in Season 07 after dismantling the champions in spectacular fashion. Quicker to the ball and their speed of attack was too much for Never Enough to handle and the pressure they were under made them throw in the white towel in the second half, and Indoor Milan took full advantage and gained a famous victory.
M.V.P’S 5 vs 5 City Rejects
LEAGUE CUP 1ST LEG

Was the correct score on the balance of play as both teams displayed a hunger for glory
City Rejects Macca and M.V.P’S striker Curtis played to an exceptional level and this all bodes well for a cracking second Leg.

FC Heat 4 vs 8 The Business

FC Heat’s title challenge now looks dead and buried after suffering this surprising defeat. The Business were Cleary the better team, their organisation and the ability to find space outclassed Heat and this result leaves Heat facing another season of being so close to silverware but failing on all fronts.
Old Boys 8 vs 6 Cov Legion

Old Boys gained revenge for the 20-3 mulling they received early in season 06. Cov Legion started brightly but once the rejuvenated Old Boys got their passing game together the tie was over. Old Boys who now have a settled squad will for sure have a say on where the Premiership title ends up.
Playerz 6 vs 2 Pudlians

Gino (2), Muzo (2), Irfan (1) and Stu (1) done the damage for The Playerz and keeps them right in the title picture.
Pudlians 0 vs 4 Allstar Rev

Allstar Revolution keeper Arfan became the newest member of the ‘Clean Sheet Club’ while his team kept up their excellent league record and must now really fancy their chances of securing the Premiership crown. It must also be noted the excellent individual goal that Hamed scored netting a curler into the top corner from just inside the Pudlians half.
Playerz 3 vs 3 Old Boys

Old Boys again kept their miserable recorded against the African Lions which has saw Old Boys NEVER beat the Playerz. The game started at the expected frantic pace with both teams showing some individual skills that would light up the professional game however this inevitably turned into a exhibition of skills and this could well be the reason no one was declared the winner come the final whistle.
Indoor Milan 6 vs 3 City Rejects

A shock result to some viewers and pundits minds but for those in the know it wasn’t. Formerly Lloyds Bar Indoor Milan have added some real genuine quality and match winners to their squad and it was Lil Dan’s ruthless finishing than pulled Indoor Milan 3 goals to the better. The game was a very aggressive affair with Indoor Milan showing no mercy to Rejects undoubted attacking forces and Rob in particular was subject to some merciless attention. City Rejects missing defensive rock Gaz M and also had Danny Elkin only 80% fit found stopping Indoor Milan’s attacking threats to much to handle. The results shows the rest of the Premiership that Rejects are not invincible and now they have been cut the rest will now smell blood.
Toon Army 11 vs 1 The Business

A true championship winning display by Toon Army, they showed that they deserve the position they are in after dismantling the Business with ease.

Danny’s Boys 4 vs 5 Motley Barnets
Reds Cup
It took a last minute goal by Barnet’s Danny to secure the points in this very close match. Danny’s Boys employed leading scorer Steve E in a defensive position and manager Dann must have rued that decision as Barnet’s walked off the court with 4pts and a place in the semi-final firmly in the bag.
St George Utd 8 vs 5 Crossbar

A very even contest between two teams in good form which saw a very entertaining 1st half with both teams having numerous chances, but they couldn’t be separated at half time (3-3). It was the higher scoring team thus far in season 06 that took control in the second half after upping the pace and turning the missed chances from the first half into goals where Crossbar were still spurning their opportunities and this saw St George Utd increase their unbeaten streak to 4 in league competition.

City Seagulls 9 vs 5 Butterbean SC

City Seagulls topped of a terrible night for Butterbean SC by subjecting them to their second defeat of the night. The game was end to end and the score line may not reflect the actual game but if you get chances you must finish them and that’s what the Gulls did with Frost (4), Barr (2) and a hat trick from Lee showing how it’s done.
