A very entertaining game with end to end action but the two teams could not be separated.
GSH 7 vs 3 Football Factory
Another barrel load of goals for GSH to add to their season’s goal tally as they outclassed their local rivals. The 1st half was a tight affair as Football Factory found some rhythm and it was only 3-2 to GSH at half time. GSH then dominated and over whelmed a weak Factory side and the score line was about right come the end of the game.
FC Butterbean 2 vs 7 City Rejects
Club Heat Cup
Rejects made it the perfect Bad Intentions night by qualifying into the semi-finals courtesy of this win.
Playerz 6 vs 3 Motley Barnets
League Cup 1st Leg
Playerz took a good advantage into the second leg with this relatively easy victory. Barnet’s did show some heart and potential in the second half but will now have to dig deep and pull out a performance like the one that got them to this stage of the competition.
Toon Army 6 vs 3 City Seagulls
A result which could end any hopes the Gulls had of title glory. Toon Army controlled the game from start to finish and never looked pressed at anytime throughout the game with Danny H the most impressive on the pitch.
The Business 4 vs 6 Cov Legion
Inter League Cup
Division One Business made Legion work hard for their 2nd round passage but the drive from Paul and goals from Paul (3), Peden (2) and one from James was enough to see the holders through to the next round.
Old Boys 3 vs 4 Allstar Rev
Allstar Revolution kept tabs on the league leaders with this excellent victory over a strong Old Boys team. As always the two put on a football show the watching P.P.V public. Young Muzzy was guilty of missing easy chances and had he put them away Old Boys could have climbed of the foot of the table but take nothing away from Allstars they produced what was needed and deserved the 4 points.
Indoor Milan 4 vs 4 Cov Legion
Indoor Milan were devastated after the game after they felt they should have come away with all 4 pts after having the squad size over Cov Legion. Legion only had the bare 5 while Milan had 9 players to choose from. The first half was an excellent display of power football from both teams but the squad factor kicked in through the second half and Indoor Milan should have made the numbers tell but some bad substitute decisions and a pen miss by Danny Bell cost them the win leaving Legion thankful for the 2pts.
Football Factory 6 vs 8 The Business
Factory were lucky to come away with the difference of only two, totally disorganised and turning up late played into The Businesses hands as they were angry at having to wait so Steve and Co gave Football Factory a spanking and sent them on their way.
St George Utd 8 vs 5 Crossbar
A very even contest between two teams in good form which saw a very entertaining 1st half with both teams having numerous chances, but they couldn’t be separated at half time (3-3). It was the higher scoring team thus far in season 06 that took control in the second half after upping the pace and turning the missed chances from the first half into goals where Crossbar were still spurning their opportunities and this saw St George Utd increase their unbeaten streak to 4 in league competition.
Pudlians 7 vs 1 Cov Jags
League Cup 1st Leg
Cov Jags who have been in disarray of late carried that attitude onto the pitch and found the usual dogged and never say die Pudlians in lethal form. The win almost books them a semi-final place and after only getting this far as a high scoring loser in the last round they can now dream of a cup final appearance.
FC Heat 3 vs 3 Drive By FC
Reds Shield
A fiery encounter between two excellent teams the Heat players were extremely confident going into the game and wanted revenge for the defeat earlier in the season

Reds Shield
A magical performance from St George who out played GSH leading 3-1 going into the second half St George then showed GSH the art of clinical finishing with Dixon (5), Carl (4) and two from Paul making up their scorers. Dennis (2) and two from Hayden the scorers for GSH.
