GSH 1 vs 5 FC Butterbean

GSH will feel unlucky to come away with nothing from this game after dominating large parts of the match.
The difference was Danny Thompson who is eligible to play for Butterbean through the dual club rule and it was the Hitman that really made the difference and at times Butterbean looked clueless when he wasn’t on the pitch, that’s apart from Dave Johnson who was magnificent between the sticks and his impressive form could lead to an International call up for the up coming matches vs Team Friday.
FC Heat 5 vs 3 Cov Legion

As much as Legion’s win saved them from the brink, this victory for FC Heat was a god send after many weeks of being in the doldrums.
Yet again Heat was missing a first choice keeper but stand in Tom Gault was very efficient making some crucial stops.
Legion grew ever increasingly tired as the game wore on and Heat took full advantage and put a 1 in their win column.
Danny’s Boys 7 vs 5 FC Twente B

It was a morale boosting win for Danny’s Boys who have started indifferently so far this season.
The deadly brothers Danny and Steve shared the goals but the former was the star of the show, has suffered injuries this season but on this evidence he is back to his best.
FC Twente manager Jake will just want to forget Sunday May 10th and hope his team can get back on track in the near future.
Crossbar 8 vs 6 FC Twente Bensons

Far from a technical game but was full of thrills and spills as both teams battled for the win.
Crossbar keeper Joe is gaining a good reputation as an up and coming star and his two penalties saves won Crossbar the game the youngster saved well both from Scott Hennell who himself had a very poor game.
Crossbar still had to do the business at the other end and Ryan Blackwell was sensational netting some superb goals.
St George Utd 6 vs 2 Strong Island
Champions Shield

An Ash inspired St George finally got that winning feeling that seemed to spread throughout Sunday Night.
They were missing defender Ryan and also key striker Stu but were able to put the tie to bed in the first half. St George ran riot with Ash scoring 4 and making the two others which were scored by Paul and Mike.
Strong Island will now be a little nervous after another defeat and after their fast start to season 07 they will be hoping to recover by next week ahead of their tie with fellow strugglers FC Twente Bensons.
Danny’s Boys 5 vs 5 G-Star

G-Star keeper Luke Miller was the talk of the 5Star World after this game.
The somewhat laid back keeper was in splendid form making some saves that should be only viewed in the Premier Division. A great game in which neither could be separated Danny’s Boys scorers were Danny (2), Stevie E (2) and one from Weston G-Star’s replies thanks to Sean P (3), Paul and Steve Edwards.
300 Spartans 1 vs 6 GSH reserves

Spartans dreadful start to the campaign continued as they slumped to their 4th league defeat of the season.
GSH were just too potent in attack and despite not playing their best football looked heads above Spartans.
Spartans must go back and read Dr Wang’s advice and hopefully then they will return to winning ways.
Butterbean SC 9 vs 2 Strong Island

It was an easy night’s work for Butterbean SC who kept their unbeaten league run in tact.
Pocket dynamo Macci was brilliant in the first half creating and scoring but a tumble saw the talented attacker bought of injured late in the second half an as a result we bore witness to the nimble feet of owner/goalkeeper Dave Johnson who as we all know is a great keeper but let’s face it Dave you are not an outfield player, leave it to talent’s like Cliff ‘Hollywood’ Darby who again was movie star like in his performance credit to Dave though he did score but not as many as Hollywood who netted two.
SUNDAY WAS ALL ABOUT PRIDE AND THE BATTLE FOR DOMINATION
Motley Barnets 5 vs 4 Butterbean SC
League Cup

This was a real good old fashioned cup tie which both teams left everything on the pitch.
Barnet’s had led 4-1 at half time and looked to be cruising into the second round but Butterbean had other ideas and stormed back pulling the game to 5-4 and despite so much late pressure from Butterbean, Barnets held firm and booked their seat on the plane to the second round.
CITY REJECTS vs MERCHANTS
PRIDE PPV MAIN EVENT

Arguably the two best teams in the 5star World at the moment went head-head in a mouth watering tie.
Rejects were 4 unbeaten going into this tie and Merchants went in not losing a league game for almost two seasons.
