Crossbar 6 vs 4 Ten Left Feet
Crossbar provided the 5star World with the shock of the season as they beat previously unbeaten Ten Left Feet.
T.L.F were major favourites going into this game and fully expected to brush a side the ‘rookies’ and T.L.F looked good for that past the first half and into the second half but what was becoming apparent going into the final 6 minutes were that Crossbar were growing in confidence and stature.
A crucial double save from talented Joe in the Crossbar goal gave the impetus and they started to wear down T.L.F like a boxer in the latter rounds, Ryan Blackwell and the outfield Joe scored 3 quick fire goals which gave Crossbar the unlikely win much to the delight of T.L.F title rivals Motley Barnets who roared in delight with the magnificent Crossbar fight back however… what about Crossbar? Have they just catapulted into one of the teams capable of grabbing the brass ring and the Championship title, only time will tell?

FC Heat 1 vs 3 City Rejects
League Cup
The last time these two met was in the Premiership and Rejects routed Heat 15-1 and that led to a mass exodus of Heat players.
This time round it was much different and credit must go to FC Heat’s manager Rich Slack who has stuck to his guns and done it his way in rebuilding his team.
The most notable signing must be the 6ft 4 goalkeeper Ross who was outstanding and has made an instant impression on the 5Star World.
Rejects really struggled without ‘The Hitman’ Danny Thompson who is out injured and only a Scott Hennell goal kept Rejects with Heat by the time half time came. Second half Rejects were perhaps the better side and goals from Gaz and Mark Quinn’s first of the season secured the victory and passage into the last sixteen.

Cov Legion 4 vs 8 Indoor Milan
It was another win in what is proving to be a great season for Indoor Milan.
Despite going two down to a spirited Legion Milan made it four from four, new signing Dale was again the best on the park netting a hat trick on his way to being named man of the match.

The right result was sought after both teams battled it out in a physical encounter.
G-Star have 3 from Steve and one from Ryan to thank while GSH reserves goals were weighed in by Kieran (2) and two from Hayden his second in particular was a joy to watch.
Crossbar 8 vs 6 FC Twente Bensons
Far from a technical game but was full of thrills and spills as both teams battled for the win.
Crossbar keeper Joe is gaining a good reputation as an up and coming star and his two penalties saves won Crossbar the game the youngster saved well both from Scott Hennell who himself had a very poor game.
Crossbar still had to do the business at the other end and Ryan Blackwell was sensational netting some superb goals.
City Seagulls 6 vs 8 FC Heat
FC Heat have new keeper Ross to thank for this much needed victory over the bare thread Seagulls.
City Seagulls had taken a 3-2 lead but fatigue set in and the Gulls started to struggle this allowed the resurgent Heat to steal in and take the points.
Indoor Milan 8 vs 5 Pudlains
Another victory and top spot in the Premiership greeted Indoor at the final whistle.
Adam Lewis has just got his first international call up and proved why with what is being described as the best goal ever, Adam hit a delicious drive that bobbed and weaved its way through gravity to nestle nicely into the admiring Anthony Charley’s goal.
Indoor were always a step ahead of the Pudlians and the return of Daz Cook can’t come soon enough for reds.
Ink Brothers 4 vs 9 Danny’s Boys
C.Shield
Danny’s Boys showed the new boys that victories don’t come for free in the 5Star World.
The Ink Brothers who showed real promise in their debut friendly against 300 Spartans also looked good in patches during this game but Danny’s Boys showed no mercy and dispatched of the newcomers to pick up their second win of the Championship Shield.
Danny’s Boys 8 vs 11 St George Utd
C.Shield
St George made it two wins in as many weeks.
Normally St George win the first half and throw the towel in the second but finally they have found the formula that gets you victories and that’s win the bloody game!
Player/ Manager Paul seems to finally have got his football shoes back on instead of his disco tap shoes because the attacker netted a superb hat trick and an also earned an International call up for upcoming International series.
TEN LEFT FEET CRASH INTO THE CROSSBAR IN THEIR QUEST FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP THRONE.............
Cov Legion 2 vs 10 FC Butterbean
League Cup
Progression was easy for Butterbean as Legion’s dreadful season continued.
Legion manager Raff (HOF) has struggled to get his players on the rectangle and again Sunday they had guest players filling in but when you are playing against a unit like Butterbean that’s not enough.
The pick of the goals came from the platinum feet of Cliff ‘Hollywood’ Darby who hit a screamer from distance and is another highlight reel for the Butterbean Billboard Boy
City Seagulls 4 vs 4 The Birds
By the time Seagulls had decided to start playing they were two nil down after only 5 minutes but in true ‘Mafia’ style they fought back and squared the game at 2-2 going into the second half.
The Gulls then upped their game and goals from Frost and Lee Konrath took them two goals in front and looking good, they really should have put the tie away but the usually prolific Lee was missing chance after chance while keeper Dave was doing his upmost to stop the Birds attacks, the keeper however succumb to the pressure and two late goals from Jonah and Andy Watts Jr gave The Birds a share of the spoils.
The Birds 7 vs 4 GSH
It was back to winning ways though for the Birds who moved up to 2nd in the table.
The pressure of management has got to Curtis Liburd who has relinquished control of management affairs and passes the reins over to Danny Bell so it was a good send off for Curtis who will remain as a player.
300 Spartans 2 vs 2 Butterbean SC
It may only be a draw but for Spartans it was a massive ray of hope.
There season has yet to catch a light and they have endured some woeful performances but Sunday saw their best to date.
Given advice by our own Dr Wang the Spartans were more than a match for the highly rated Butterbean SC who themselves will rue this result in their quest for the Championship title.
FC Twente B 3 vs 4 Strong Island
Viewed by both camps as a must win game as the winners knew they could shoot up the table and on to better things.
Strong Island showed they have real steel about them this season by returning to winning ways after a few weeks of defeats two from Jamie Lenton and Richard secured the points and a healthy 3rd position in the Championship table.
300 Spartans 3 3 vs 9 Motley Barnets
Spartans who haven't won in this competition for two seasons again suffered the big L.
Barnets raced into a comfortable five nil lead and never looked back. The title hopefuls also have the Championship Shield in their sights and sit on the top in Group B.
Spartans must feel they are cursed and will want to shake the unwanted record soon.
