Allstar Rev 5 vs 3 FC Heat
Premiership Shield
Allstars returned to our business with a predictable victory.
FC Heat were just not good enough on the night especially in the first half as keeper Luke Maslin had a nightmare. Allstars were their usual efficient self and striker Hamed looked like he was on the right road back to his award winning best and the dangerous front man netted 3 of the five.

City Rejects 2 vs 7 Indoor Milan
Premiership Shield
Rejects manager Terry will be glad he has completed some good business in the transfer market because on this showing his team could of be blown away this season.
Terry himself is awaiting an operation on his hip and was drafted into action due to low numbers and the former great was too of the pace, he wasn’t to blame though as his fellow players failed to live up to their reputations on the other side Indoor Milan looked the part despite missing Ashley McBride Indoor Milan dominated and it was their own new signing who shone so note the name Steve in your spy book because this guy was excellent on the night and for sure is one to watch out for in season 07.

FC Heat 4 vs 8 City Seagulls
Premiership Shield
This result could be what signalled the end of Scott Hennells FC Heat career as the star was the only one from Heat who could hold their head high at the final whistle.
Both teams tussled for domination in the early going but it was the Gulls who gained the master role. They were just way to organised and deadly for Heat and again Lee Konrath was the brightest talent on show but the best action from the game culminated in Frost netting after some excellent one touch stuff which involved Joe Barr, Lee and eventually Frost.
It seems the Age of the Gulls has begun so everyone has been put on alert because the “Gulls are gonna get ya”

300 Spartans 3 vs 4 The Birds
Super Cup Qualifier Final
Nobody gave 300 Spartans a chance in this final and rightly so after a poor LeagueofChampions campaign while The Birds have electrified.
The game didn’t go to form however as Spartans put in a performance of their lives, they went behind to an Andy Harbourne strike but soon equalised thanks to Steve P.
The Birds were shocked by how determined Spartans were and again they equalised after Andy Watts Jr had given Birds the lead this time it was Alec doing the business, this routine followed into the second half and Spartans were looking good for penalties but with only 10 seconds remaining Curtis found space to nip in and break Spartans hearts however Spartans can take so much from this game and could well be a favourite for the Championship if they can get off to a good start.
The Birds have added their 1st trophy to their cabinet albeit a minor one, we can’t help thinking it could one of many for the most improved team in the business.

Birds 6 vs 3 City Seagulls
Premiership Shield
The Birds had no problem tucking the Gulls into bed in this Premiership Shield men against boys clash.
The physical approach the Birds bring to the dance was something the Gulls couldn’t match, some would say the Gulls ‘bottled’ it in the trenches and when your ‘superstar’ and ‘showstopper’ go A.W.O.L the chance of beating a team like the Birds is null and void.
The Birds still had to do the job though and Curtis was impressive hitting four and being named man of match
Pudlians 10 vs 3 GSH
Premiership Shield
Welcome to the big league GSH.
Pudlians showed just what they are capable of in this one sided football show, they were just a different class and no one more so than Daz Cooke who was just irresistible on the night. Daz showed true class in all of his play and a highlight of the 5 he scored was a delicate dink of the GSH keeper.
DX 1 vs 11 G-Star
Championship Shield
The returning Bedder was the major difference between these two sides as G-Star got their season of in fine fashion.
Their was only going to be one winner as G-Star ruled all aspects of the game, Bedder got 6 while Callum (3) and singles by Jason and Mickey completed G-Stars scorer list while DX solitary goal came courtesy of Paul Fancock.
G-Star 2 vs 12 Danny’s Boys
Championship Shield
This was somewhat of a grudge match as G-Stars goalkeeper and joint manager Luke Millers was formerly a Danny’s Boys shot stopper.
It was his former team who claimed the spoils and must be said with relative ease as Stevie E picked right up where he left off last season netting six of the 12.
Ten Left Feet 4 vs 3 300 Spartans
Championship Shield
Ten Left look dangerous so beware.
Even missing keeper Shaun and dynamic midfielder Wardy Ten Left signalled their intent this season with a hard fought victory over the Spartans.
The game was evenly contested throughout and was 1-1 at half time but it was T.L.F who took the points and with it the title of Championship favourites?
T.L.F 8 vs 2 Crossbar
Championship Shield
T.L.F made it two from two as they downed a woeful Crossbar.
Crossbar were down to three men at one point so the score line is no surprise, Goals from Mike (4), Dan (2), Neil and John Brolly saw them home.
FC Twente 14 vs 3 Crossbar
Championship Shield
A real gimme for FC Twente as they slaughtered Crossbar with ease.
Jamie Lenton and Scott Hennell both got 6 goals as they danced and played with Crossbar and fully deserved the massive win they took home.

GSH reserves 14 vs 1 The Bookies
Championship Shield
It was a tough opener for our new team The Bookies as they suffered the fate of most virgin teams who join the big time.
GSH as a club can sympathise with the Bookies as they themselves were ‘Jobbers’ when they joined us but 3 three seasons later they are a Premiership club as well as having the second string and it was the second string who bought the most joy for owner Dennis Ludford, Dennis has bought in new blood to his reserves and on this showing some of them may well be in the first team come Sunday.
Jase Tse was again amongst the goals and his move to GSH and regular football seems to have perked up the stagnant Seagulls player but it was strikers Steve and Hayden who were a class apart especially the latter who looks back to his best and about time too because Hayden was one who was earmarked to make a big splash last season but for whatever reason failed to produce.

Motley Barnets 4 vs 5 FC Twente
Championship Shield
Barnets are still struggling to gel as unit after an overhaul late last season.
It had looked rosy the first few games they played together but since then they have stuttered but with league games still yet to start manager ‘Jambo’ McDade still has time to work his magic however time is ticking!!!
