City Rejects 0 vs 14 Indoor Milan
Elite League

It was simply not good enough by Rejects as they were outclassed by Indoor Milan.
The defeat will raise eyebrows about Rejects title hopes as it seems without Danny Thompson Rejects are flaccid.
They managed only 3 shots all game as Indoor ran riot, Ashley McBride and Adam Lewis were just untouchable while in contrast Rejects own young starlets Jamie and Scott were only able to watch and admire how young talent should be the two Indoor Milan strikers notched seven between them (Ash 4 Adam L 3)
Norfolk 6 vs 7 Indoor Milan
Champions League Cup

It was a thrilling encounter between two of the 5Star Worlds in form teams.
A very even game played out as both teams played attacking football and neither taking a step back. Indoor Milan had a 4-2 lead but were put under immense pressure in the second half as Norfolk fought for their lives as any Andy Watt’s team does but man of the match Ian Lewis was the saviour for Indoor Milan pulling of some international class saves to deny Norfolk a draw in the final few minutes.
Ziggy Tooters 9 vs 7 Pudlians

It didn’t take the returning Ziggy Tooters long to oil up them joints and prove they will be a problem to many Premiership teams this season.
It was great to see the likes of Will and Ash back in the 5Star World and the two now more mature were tactically spot on and foiled the plucky Pudlains.
Danny’s Boys 4 vs 3 GSH reserves
C.Shield

Danny’s Boys had the brothers Danny and Stevie E to thank for ensuring the victory.
Danny’s Boys again looked frail defensively but when he have a marksman like Stevie E you know they will always score goals, the Golden Boy shared the 4 with his brother on this occasion and takes them top of Group A.
A-Star 11 vs 2 300 Spartans

It was an easy passage into the second round for A-Star as they dispatched Championship side 300 Spartans.
Waqquas again revelled in his new found responsibility and we now finally could see the best of the young man after season’s of potential.
GSH 2 vs 6 Pudlains

This was a very industrial type game with both teams bringing the physical side of the game into play.
Pudlians were always the better side and hat tricks from Lee Long and Mark done the job while GSH goals came from singles via Paddy and Jamie Lenton.
Strong Island 9 vs 11 Danny’s Boys
C.Shield

There was a real thrilling game played out on Sunday and it was this one.
Strong Island absolutely dominated Danny’s Boys first half and striker Jamie Lenton was red hot.
He dictated the half with lovely passes, skill and drive and he was the reason why Strong Island had a strangle hold on the game leading 6-4 going into the second half.
But what a second half it was as Strong Island increased their lead to 8-4 but cue the switch of Danny to attack and the game changed dramatically.
Danny’s Boys attacked with fury and Stevie E started to find the net with every shot he had, amazingly the striker hit 9 goals his seventh inparticular outstanding made up off a sublime piece of skill and an even better finish, Danny weighed in with the other two in what was one of the best comebacks in 5Star History.
300 Spartans 3 vs 5 Ten Left Feet

Ten Left Feet put the disappointment of last weeks shock defeat behind them with a victory that took them back to the top of the table.
It wasn’t as convincing as they would have liked as Spartans proved gamely opponents but 3 goals in the first half from Neil (2) and Dan (1) proved to much to comeback from for Spartans who are still looking for their first win off the season
THE REAL DEAL? Or BRIDESMAIDS? AS CITY REJECTS GET HIT FOR 14......
St George Utd 10 vs 3 Crossbar

Crossbar were a shadow of the team that beat high flying Ten Left Feet last week.
They were missing George and goalkeeper Joe and the latter was the most missed as St George shot and scored at will.
Crossbar did have their moments but stand in keeper Sucki was exemplary in goal and this allowed St George to notch up the digits.
Paul did do better in this game hitting 5 in his final game for St George.
A-STAR 9 vs 3 FC Heat

Life without Hamed started well for the new look A-Stars as they eased past FC Heat.
FC Heat were missing new keeper Ross and also influential midfielder Paddy but the night belong to A-Star. Hamed’s direct replacement Waqquas was excellent leading the line and looked a different and better player, a screamer from Tahir was the pick of the goals on the night and Tahir will be more than happy with how his new team is shaping up.
St George Utd 11 vs 1 G-Star
League Cup

It was a perfect send of for the outgoing St George manager Paul who embarks on a mission to save the whales of the world.
Paul never really shone on his exit instead his party boy mate Ash was creating many and scoring 2. The win secures St George a place in the quarter final and could be the springboard for great things.
We all here at 5Star wish Paul a great trip around the world and hopes he stays away from the lady boys in Thailand.
