As we launch season 06 we asked our managers 7 Questions and here's what they had to say
Q.1 How Do You see Your Teams Season 06 going?
Simon:
Being Constantly Brilliant
Gavin Lee:
Very well, we are banking on league victory as well as cup glory.
Mark Andrews:
I think we will do alright. Promotion would be ideal but avoiding relegation would be good too! Guess that means mid table obscurity

Simon:
We are aiming for the Champions League
Gavin Lee:
I think we can do even better this season with the cups; we won two last season and lost two in the late stages.
Mark Andrews:
Initially we did believe we could do well in the cup but getting Excelsior in the first round dampened the optimism some what. Even still we were still confident of causing an upset and drew inspiration from Coventry beating both Blackburn and Manchester Utd this season! Even still our cup dreams were dashed by a case of flu which decimated our ranks only hours before the game! Some things aren’t meant to be I guess.

We at Excelsior have the best keeper in 5starsports and we will be keeping the Iceman for many years to come.
Mark Andrews:
To be honest we have 2. Our 2nd is a secret weapon! Let’s just say we signed him in the summer transfer window last year from Dynamo Kiev for an undisclosed fee and have been loaning him out to Birmingham this season! Don’t believe what that chump Gold or Sullivan say, they never bought him, we did*!!!

A tricky one with a team like Excelsior, they’re all stars but I believe its Lil Dan this season that will rise above and show his next level. Lets not forget young Ash who we at Excelsior think will have the world at his feet in seasons to come
Mark Andrews:
To be honest we don’t have any star players our team ethos doesn’t tolerate ego’s or pre-Madonna’s!... we stand by the theory of “there’s no I in team” but our star man is probably Carl! He is big, strong and carries a deadly right peg. We expect him to mash up some opposition forwards this season!

Mark Andrews:
We have a one for all and all for one mentality and focus our work and effort as a team. We are like a ball of rubber bands, on our own we are poor and weak and could easily snap, but when we are working together we’re tough, strong and practically unbreakable… Keith Miller said this in Eastenders the other week and it inspired me, it reminded me of when they had Real Walford, I believe if that little scrote Billy Mitchell had let Keith be the sole manager the team would have flourished and had far greater success…the man is an inspiration….I like his hair!
