As we launch season 06 we asked our managers 7 Questions and here's what they had to say
Q.1 How Do You see Your Teams Season 06 going?
Rich Slack:
I think we did well last year and we’re going to build on that and with a little more consistency we could get promotion or at least a cup or two.
Nick Frost:
Unbeaten
Mike Holloway:
I am hoping to that we can start season 06 as strongly as we finished 05. Last season took the team 5 or 6 games to gel properly and we cannot afford to do that again if we are going to challenge for promotion. If we start where we left off then I can see us being up there challenging for the title.

Q.2 Do you feel your team can achieve cup success?
Rich Slack:
Yes I think we can. We got to a final in the last two seasons and we are determined to go one better and win one this season!!
Nick Frost:
Four out of five cups will be ours.
Mike Holloway:
I know when we are playing well we are good enough to beat most teams in the 5Star Leagues so if we can put together a good run of form I think we will win some silverware. We were disappointed not to get out of the group stages of the REDS shield last season so that will be one of our main aims this season (After promotion)

Q.3 Every team needs a good GK........Do you have one!?
Rich Slack:
Yes I think we do but at the end of last season our team wasn’t really happy with him and he was uneasy and didn’t play to his best but on his day Luke can be great so hopefully he will be on top form this season
Nick Frost:
Best Keeper in Coventry.
Mike Holloway:
I would consider myself a decent keeper although last season I lacked consistency as I missed a few games at the start. Not conceding goals will be vital to our promotion chances as last season it was only our goal difference that stopped us going up.

Q.4 Who do you see being your star player this season?
Rich Slack:
I think Jason will be our star man this season he is a brilliant player with a lot of skill and power but he has a temper on him that he can’t control at times but I think the President knocked that into touch by banning him for the back end of last season so I think he is chomping at the bit to start season 06 just hope he don’t chomp on someone’s ears!!

Mike Holloway:
Dave Jones was the player that stood out for us last season because of his goals but every player was important to the team and it showed in the games that Jonesy missed. This season I am hoping that every player raises their game and that we stand out as a team as oppose to individuals.

Q.5 With our International squads now in full swing, do you have any players that our scouts should be aware off?
Rich Slack:
I was selected in the first squad but couldn’t make the game so hopefully I can get back into the squad again if not I think any of my team mates can make that step up as they all could add something to the team.
Nick Frost:
Dave (GK), Darren, Raff, ME, Jase and Joe Barr
Mike Holloway:
I think the potential international call up will give the team an extra incentive to perform and show of their talent. We had one player selected last season and I wouldn’t be surprised if the scouts take an interest in any of our players this season.
I was selected in the first squad but couldn’t make the game so hopefully I can get back into the squad again if not I think any of my team mates can make that step up as they all could add something to the team.

I haven’t really got a style I just try and give everyone equal playing time while trying to keep a strong team on the pitch at all times.

I like my team to play attractive football when possible but I encourage them to play aggressively when needed. I consider no player to be bigger than the club so any egos are left at home when we play. This gives u a relaxed atmosphere so we are able to enjoy playing in the leagues.
