Never Enough

The final chapter in the history of Never Enough who started out in season 01 under the name Ocean’s 7  gained promotion soon after.
Up to season 06 they were rated a great team but now they have cemented their name in history as one of the all time best after completing back to back Premiership titles and also winning The Club Heat Cup and the Inter League Cup in season 06.
So what now for the team of legends as they ride into the sunset with their bag of gold?
Well with Noonie hitting the form of his life late on in season 06 looks set to continue playing for another team along with Young Dan so the memory of Never Enough lives on through those two BUT maybe, Just maybe Season 07!!!?
Let’s wait and see..

Honours: Premiership, Club Heat Winners and Inter League Cup Winners

Playerz

A season of so much hope and expectations failed to materialise as the African Lions legs and bellies failed the rigorous demands of the flagship league late on.
The unfortunate incident against City Rejects in the League Cup final spelt the end for these talented individuals. But they will for sure be missed on these shores and we wish them all the very best of health for the future.

City Rejects

Their season could be turned into a feature length movie as they travelled along the road of ups and downs. Touted by many to under perform again in season 06 got of to a flyer early doors taking names along the way and moved into pole position to claim the Premiership crown.
Two weeks of craziness cost them dear and they could only finish second when first place looked an easier target. Manager Terry could sit with you for hours and pour his heart out over the happenings in season 06 but this is football, this is the game we love and without the pain there can not be any joy and when it was all said and done Terry and his players can look back with what if’s but with also the knowledge that they won a BIG one.

Honours: League Cup Winners

Cov Legion

A team who are always on the edge looking in and their season 06 was no different. Raff can struggle to get a settled squad but when he does get one Cov Legion do things like win the Super Cup and have the potential to do so much more.

Honours: Super Cup Winners

Indoor Milan

A mid season takeover saw Lloyds Bar become a better team over night. Over came Hall of Famer Gavin Lee and the talented Danny Bell later on Curtis Liburd followed and the three gave Indoor Milan instant creditability.
They were however the unfortunate innocent victims of the Excelsiorgate and suffered badly from it when it came down to the business end of the season.

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Young Adam

FC Butterbean

A solid first campaign in the Premiership and achieved what they set out to do and that was to solidify their premiership status.
The Plums turned in some excellent performances over the season beating eventual champions Never Enough along the way.

Old Boys

Multiple time Sunday Premiership Champions were just not up for the tough task that faced them in season 06. The bar had been raised and teams were now not afraid to tackle these giants of 5 a side football anymore.
Two early losses and a no show spelt the end for Old Boys before the league had even hotted up manager and newly inducted Hall of Famer Jazz Singh still has a bitter taste in his mouth and vows to recapture the title he thinks is his and his teams.

Toon Army

These young brash but highly talented footballers showed their quality and destroyed the 1st Division field with a near faultless league campaign.
Littered with stars such as Andy, Danny and Carl to name a few really should have put more titles into their cabinet but for some reason were poor on all the Cup fronts but let’s not take away from what was an excellent first season within our company.

Honours: 1st Division Winners

5Star Rating ****
M.V.P - Andy

FC Heat

Deserved their team of the season award after a terrific campaign led by Rich Slack they managed to reach the latter stages of all the cup competitions and will regret not taking their moment in the spotlight.
Neither the less they secured promotion and will now look to build upon their success ready for Season 07

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Jason Wigmore

City Seagulls

The highlight of their season will be their unbelievable performance at the President’s Cup and rightly so, truly outstanding.
The Gulls are perceived by some as arrogant and in particular the flamboyant Gulls President Nick Frost but make no mistake this man is shrewd and knows how to pick up wins.
Expect big things from the Gulls over the next few season’s as they start their journey into becoming a top ten ranked side.

5Star Rating ****
M.V.P - Joe Barr

The Business

They can be extremely proud of their performance in season 06 narrowly missing out on promotion losing to GSH in the play off finals.

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Ben

GSH

What can you say about this team?
They showed what hard work, application and desire can bring you and in their case it bought trophies.
Dennis is perhaps the most tactically aware manager in all the leagues and he has been the main catalyst in making GSH a household name and a team to be feared.

Honours: Play Off final Winners and Reds Cup Winners

Danny’s Boys

Their first season with us was a good one, yes they were way off the title race but credit must go to them for their progress over the season.
They rely on Steve for the goals and he certainly delivers them but in order to make progress they must find new weapons of mass destruction if they can do that they could certainly be title challengers next time round.

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Steve E

Motley Barnets

A team who have so much more ability than they show which can be frustrating for Barnets supporters and even players alike.
Home to stars such as Johnny Wilkinson and Nick Janda the Barnets will feel they fell a little short of what they expected of themselves.
We think that if they can just start believing in themselves a little more they could really turn out performances that make you a champion with that said they can still be happy with their efforts this season.

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Nick Janda

300 Spartans

Tipped by the President himself to make real waves in season 06 and they failed to deliver. The loss of Dave Jones was a blow they took eternity to get over, once they had it was way too late to mount any challenges.
An organised bunch who play with smiles on their faces but that hasn’t bought them trophies so maybe a change in philosophy could be needed to give them the kick up the arse they need to improve.

Honours: Fairplay League Winners

5Star Rating **
M.V.P - Alec

Butterbean SC

Joined the leagues late and are premiership side FC Butterbean’s reserve side. The backlog of fixtures they had to wade through cost them and the club dear however give them a clear road ahead and they have the potential to get over the finish line in first place.

5Star Rating **
M.V.P - Adam

St George Utd

Playboy manager Paul certainly has some very good talent at his disposal and especially in the firepower department in the form of Carl and Ash.
Caused a few upsets along the way and narrowly missed out on a place in the Reds Cup Final losing to FC Heat on penalties in the semi-final

V.I.P’S

Young, free and wild is the best terms to describe V.I.P’S in our line we get the chance to see people grow mature and live their life’s and these lads have gave us many thoughts and worries along the way.
Who will ever forget the infamous ‘Dildo’ incident at our awards night or an unnamed player sicking up what can only be described as a red sea!!
They may be party boys but they are also gifted on the pitch, folded late in the season and forfeited a Reds Cup semi-final only to rejoin weeks after
Lessons are there to be learnt and I am sure these lads have learned a lot over the season but we all at 5Star Promotions think very highly of them all and will continue to enjoy watching them grow as human beings and as players.

5Star Rating **

Allstar Revolution

A team who deserve maximum respect just for their past achievements but this is about the here and now and Allstar Revolution are a credit to our leagues still.
They will kick themselves to be walking away from season 06 empty handed when in all honestly they could have the whole lot.
Threw away every title on offer and most of them when they had the lead or the advantage to go on and win things.
They are getting a little older, slightly heavier and this could have been their last chance of now or never in their bid to return to greatness.
Religious commitments rule them out of the LeagueofChampions but their desire to win a league and ultimately the want to become President’s Cup winners still burns deep within so after recharging their batteries expect an Allstar Backlash in Season 07.

5Star Rating ***
M.V.P - Hamed

Pudlians

Found the going real tough in the Premiership and they also had their focus on their Friday side Mean Machine. The latter was perhaps the main factor on their relegation.
1st Division teams you have now been put on an early warning sound as the Pudlians will start Season 07 red hot favourite to demolish all in their path.

5Star Rating **
