ECCC8v5Mozzies Army Friday CLUB HEAT Premiership.
Revenge saw these two teams face up for the 3rd time since they both joined
, a draw and a win for ECCC so far but it was ECCC who kept up there unbeaten start to the campaign with a well fought Revenge win over an impressive Mozzies Army, although ECCC were a little under strength they still managed to put in a match winning performance,
It was an excellent start to the game with both teams going all out attack and it was Mozzies Army that struck the first blow with Danny Gay scoring what seemed a perfectly good goal, the referee however disallowed the strike. ECCC missed the fluidity they normally possess in attack and it showed as Mozzies Army eventually took the lead. Rich Swaffield then saw yellow and spent 3 mins in the sin bin for a reckless challenge and ECCC found themselves under pressure. If Mozzies had there shooting boots on the scoreline would no doubt have been higher, as it was though there shooting was wild.
As soon as Rich returned he scored and then set up Youngy for his first and ECCC's 3rd, Mozzies spurned chances were taking there toll. Just before the break though Danny Gay finally got on the score sheet with a fantastic strike to make the half time score 3-2 ECCC.

The 2nd Half saw Mozzies come straight out of the blocks and Danny gay again scored to level the game. Youngy then scored his second for ECCC with a simple tap in before C, Beddows blows a chance blazing high. ECCC began to take control and it wasn’t long until they increased there lead youngy scoring his hat trick with a low drive. Callum Beddows again spurning two golden chances for ECCC and were made to pay as Danny gay secured his hat trick for the Mozzies. Mozzies were beginning to tire as the game went on but it was a delightful free kick from the in form Danny Gay that levelled the game 5-5, with only minutes left it seemed a draw would be a fair result but ECCC and youngy had other ideas, and with Mozzies increasingly looking tired he took full advantage with another two goals in the closing minutes to give ECCC a fortunate 7-5 win.
Mean Machine 4 vs 5 Sweden FC- Friday REDS 1st Division
Sweden FC leap frogged Mean Machine in the REDS FIRST DIVISION with this empathic win
, having gone in at the break 5-4 down it looked like it was to be Mean Machines night, they attacked from the start and found themselves 2 up early on, But Sweden’s Dan the Man had other ideas and levelled the game with two goals in quick succession. Shortly before the break though Adam scored after some sloppy defending to give them the edge. The second half saw some entertaining stuff, end to end football and played at a fast pace but it was Sweden FC that nicked all 4 points at the end with a very late winner. Goals from Dan (3), Steve and Adam were all that was needed with replies from Mark, Dec, Matt and Adam.

Lloyds Bar vs M.V.P’S Sunday CLUB HEAT Premiership
M.V.P’S will look back at this game as 2pts dropped after they were held to a 6-6 draw against Lloyds Bar. It was viewed as an acid test for the MVP’S as Lloyds Bar are a team capable of beating the best on their day. The 1st half pretty much belonged to MVP’S as their direct game paid dividends as they sailed into a 3-1 lead and looked very comfortable in the process. The second half was a different story as Lloyds Bar come out with intent and as the game grew older Lloyds Bar become more of threat and with 4 minutes left they were still 3 goals behind but amazingly they dug in and stunned their opponents, clawing back to save the game with a 6-6 draw.
City Seagulls vs Motley Barnets Sunday REDS Division One
Words had been spoken but the time for talking was over as the two crossed the white line. Motley Barnets welcomed back Chris (GK) from suspension but missing two key players including defender Ollie while City Seagulls were at full strength. The game did not live up to pre match hype as both teams seemed to cancel each other out and there were minimal highlights to talk about. The difference between the two teams was in the finishing department, both teams collectively left their shooting boots at home apart from one, Joe ‘The Showstopper’ Barr who took his chances when they arrived and it was his late tap in that gave the Gulls the 4pts and all the bragging rights in this dull 2-1 affair.
