GOAL SCORER CHART
FC Heat were full of confidence and form going into this game and had a full strength
Pilots instantly looked the classier side settling well and it took only two minutes for them to test Luke in goal but the shot stopper was equal to it, Pilots continued to rule in possession and the talented Kahled was beginning to dictate the game and his well timed pass to Ali saw him open the scoring Ali jinxing past a few Heat defenders to slot home.
It was proving to be a one sided game as Heat failed to ignite with sloppy passing and ragged attacks the substance of their game Pilots were just to masterful a rare Heat attack saw Jason Wigmore hit the post only for the rebound to fall nicely to Hamed who set Kahled on his way to notch number two, it looked as though Pilots were going to bury the game in the first half and may have but for some fine saves by Luke Maslin who had a bewildered look on his face on how this game was playing out.
The second half saw Pilots really go for the jugular and a mistake by Luke allowed Othman to nip in and make it 3-0, it was all Pilots now as a disallowed goal saved Heat from going four down. Nothing Heat were doing was coming off the Ginger Assassin Scott Hennell was non existent as were other flair players like Jason and Tom, Pilots soon made it four and were now coasting to victory, Heats poor showing was compounded when Jason Wigmore was sent off for what can only be described as a barbaric challenge, this was a cup final and Heat became an embarrassment on the big stage, Tom Gault was shown to the sin bin not long after Jason’s dismissal for raising his hands so Heat were down to three and it was now basically a farcical as Pilots notched five six and seven to win the PointstoVictory Cup and a place in 5Star History.
