Robins started the game at a frantic pace trying to upset G-14’s rhythm and it paid off as Aggy scored a simple goal at the far post with ‘Iceman’ allowing his shot to slip under him.
G-14 began to ease into the game and there ability to keep the ball was beginning to show,
Ash McBride turned Aggy on the edge of the box but Aggy was a bit slow to react as he gave away a free kick, a quick tap back to Gav Lee saw him score an excellently place Gerrard type free kick into the bottom left hand corner leaving Quinny no chance.
Despite Robin’s possession they were finding it hard to deal with G-14 quick counter attacking style football, but it was Robins that struck next again through Aggy, this time a long range free kick as he’s become accustomed to.

G-14 were beginning to look like they might lose out on silverware yet again as ‘Bob’ stretched Robins lead to 3-1, scoring an excellent solo goal that wowed the audience above.
As the half wore on G-14 were getting frustrated in front of goal with Gavin, Jase and Ash all going close, stand in goalkeeper Mark Quinn playing well and having lots to do.
Finally the pressure paid off, Danny Thompson causing problems on the left and picking out an unmarked Adam who finished with ease.
Literally a minute later G-14 levelled in almost exactly the same way, Thommo a box of tricks in the left corner somehow picked out Adam again to finish in the same corner.
G-14 then took the lead for the first time as manager Gavin bagged his second of the game with an easy tap into an empty net from a rebounded shot off Thommo. G-14 extended their lead just before the break with a fine goal from Adam Lewis, using his pace on the counter attack.

The 2nd half saw a massive improvement from G-14 as they took control, Lil Ash and Adam using their youth and fitness to full effect. Scoring twice early on through Jason and Thommo before Amraj bagged two for himself for Robins.
A brief spell of possession for Robins saw them test Ian Clelland in goal a couple of times but they failed to make the most of it and didn’t ripple the net again in the half as
G-14 ran out comfortable winners in the end, Jason scoring twice more and Thommo getting a hat trick.
