FC Your Mum had a point to prove after bailing out of their previous encounter before the whistle had even blown, and with the returning Chris and John had every chance of coming away with some silverware.
FC your Mum too an early lead through Will with a clinical finish, and in a close encounter in the opening minutes found themselves fortunately 2-0 up, Chris scoring a screamer from the edge of the area.
The 2 goals seemed to wake Arsenal up and lil Muzzy lit up the pitch with some nifty footwork before turning two players and sliding the ball past Dave in the FYM goal.
FC Your Mum had the better of the first half chances with both Chris and Will hitting the woodwork and forcing Sucki into some smart saves at his near post, and perhaps the misses were costly as the ever impressive Melusi burst through just before the break to snatch a late equaliser taking the score in a 2-2.
FC Your Mum used there strong arm tactics to full effect giving Arsenal very little time and space on the ball, a feature the Arsenal Boys don’t particularly like as it showed in this game, giving the ball away needlessly, unfortunately for FYM Chris took it a little too far and after one too many fouls saw yellow and sat out 3 minutes on the sidelines, in which time Arsenal showed their superiority with a little game of keep ball.
One such move led to 11 passes being made and Muzzy finishing the move off the underside of the bar to give Arsenal the advantage they needed.
Lil Muzzy finished the game off with a deft flick past Dave that left the keeper stranded, and although big Will felt his disallowed goal should’ve stood, the outcome was probably just deserved for Arsenal, who are still on course for a hatful of 5star trophies.
