Motley Barnets vs Mean Machine
HOW THEY RATED
A chance for our new teams to do battle and when the smoke had cleared it came down to these two sides. Mean Machine already a Friday double champion were favourites to add to their trophy haul while Motley Barnets went into the game safely in the knowledge that they had never lost a competitive game to Mean Machine
The game was summed it in the very first minute as big Lee opened up the scoring with the very first shot of the game and Mean Machine never really looked back.
The match was a very physical encounter with Mean Machine in no mood to take any prisoners and soon added to their 1-0 lead thanks to Daz Cooke who broke down the right to lash his effort past the despairing dive from keeper Carl Pickup.
In the second half it was again all Mean Machine who looked a class above Motley Barnets who again seemed to freeze on the big stage. Mean Machine became more rampant and went on to hit another 4 goals while Barnets could only muster one of there own.
