5 Star Promotions League of Champions Silver Cup Final Butterbean SC vs Rafa Revolution

Rafa Revolution have undoubted quality and as a club have notched up a nice little resume so it was them who started favourites over Butterbean SC who have upped their own levels at times this season that could easily see them win the first ever Silver Cup but which Butterbean would be on show, would Rafa keep their nerve?.......History awaited.

A tense opening greeted the watching public as both teams struggled to find their rhythm as passes and attacks went astray but the game was soon light it up as Daz Cooke found a yard and lashed a shot which whizzed past the diving Phil but the shot hit the bar and went over….or on line!!? The ref gave it as on the line and the game continued, Daz then hit the upright soon after waltzing past Gaz Tutty but Gaz was sparred by the post the game was getting scrappy as the midfield battle commenced but as the two went toe to toe on strode the glamour, the thrust…. Mr Hollywood Cliff Darby and the striker found himself some space on the right to smoothly lick the ball into the top corner and send the female section of the crowd wild and the star gave them a quick fluff of his mane and 1-0 to Butterbean.
It went from good to great for Butterbean as young starlet Adam netted to take them 2-0 and into a shock lead but everyone knew they still had questions that they would have to answer before their hands good touch the trophy and Daz Cooke gave them a scare but lady lucked was surely with Butterbean as his shot zipped off the post and away from danger a frustrated Daz was visibly in anguish at his own luck in front of goal.

Second half was a much better start than the first halves equivalent as Butterbean looked to attack and to keep the pressure on Rafa and Will was next to find space but his shot was well saved by Anthony Charley.
Time was ticking and Rafa knew it as their play started to become a little forced the other shock was that Butterbean were also winning the physical side of the game with Gaz Tutty who will know been known as Gaz ‘The Rock’ Tutty as he was just that… however Daz did slip his guard and the talented front man gave Rafa hope with a well taken goal, this trigged Rafa into live and they piled on the pressure Vic, Lee Long and Daz all stretching Phil in the Butterbean goal who was in fine form and it was his reaction saves that kept Butterbean’s heads above water it was a peach counter attack that gave Butterbean clear breathing space though as an inch perfect pass from Jamie found Will who with a roar guided the ball past a helpless Anthony.
Rafa were scrapping but were just not at the races and were a step behind Butterbean, Daz was sin binned as his frustration boiled over mainly due to the dominance of The Rock and as club owner Dave Johnson looked on like a proud father the final whistle blew and Butterbean create History the first ever SILVER CUP CHAMPIONS!!!
