Ziggy Tooters were looking to avenge last season’s final loss to Shadows in the CLUB HEAT CUP, and there team selection showed that with all the big names out. Shadows however were on a high after finding out they had won the CLUB HEAT PREMIER DIVISION title once more due to ECCC pulling out, they now look to completing another double as there fantastic domination of the 5STAR LEAGUES looks to continue.
Ziggy Started off at there usual high, fast pace and looked to unsettle The Shadows with some early hard tackles, this time however Shadows were expecting it and combated it with there own skilful one touch game that to be honest made Ziggy Tooters look somewhat poor, the tackles missed as Shadows just knocked the ball past Ash, Dave and Reece and it was fully deserved when they took the lead, and then in almost identical fashion scored a second through Melusi.
The Shadows looked in total control and Ziggy Tooters once again began to lose there patience and control and a fluke goal from Dave put them right back in it.
The goal sparked some life into Ziggy Tooters as Ellis began to see more of the ball, and with some good trickery from Dave he set up Ellis to equalise. The Shadows regained there advantage within minutes though with Muzzi creating the chance for Mel to easily finish, Melusi completed his first half hat trick from the spot as Doddy handled the ball outside the box giving The Shadows a 4-2 half time advantage.
The second half saw much of the same pattern of play with Ash trying his best to unsettle the Shadows flow but unsuccessfully as his hard approach was brushed off by the likes of Brian and Mel
Ziggy Only managed the one goal in the second Half and that was scored by Will Davies and The Shadows looked comfortable in scoring a further 4 goals to set up a mouth watering final against either there big Rivals Something Else or Gosford Green.

" If we could find the same formula we had to stop Shadows earlier in the Season we might off had silverware this season"
