FC Your Mum failed to produce there good league form in this cup tie as the Wonderers once again got there tactics spot on to cope with the presence of in form striker Will. A 1-1 half time scoreline was a true refelction of the first half as neither team created mush in front of goal, but in the 2nd period it was Wonderers who took there chances better in particular Kieran.

A good competitive game by two unbeaten teams in their respective divisions, Cyprus UTD caused some problems in the first half but it was the fire power of Thommo and Steve Reece that was the deciding factor as Cyprus seemed to lack the belief in the 2nd half when they were down a couple of goals.

Next Best thing impressed in this cup tie as Dizzy Tooters looked to carry on from there impressive 1st round win over Mozzies Army, unfortunately even star player Gavin under performed as they found themselves 3-1 down at the break. James and Steve for NBT took the game and were the key players in this comfortable win.

Mozzies Army 4 vs 3 Keresley Kobras
Mozzies Army leap frogged there opponents in the league with this well fought win. Kobras found themselves in front at the break if somewhat against the run of play as Mozzies missed a hatful of chances but in the 2nd half put things right with Danny scoring 2 and Pat scoring a solo with an own goal from frosty. K.Kobras manager Ollie would’ve been very disappointed had he been available with his team’s lack of desire to win when they had such a good chance to do so.

Cunning Stunts kept up there assault on the top of the table with a hard fought win, they certainly didn’t have it all there own way as Sunshine pushed them all the way. 4-4 at half time but Cunning Stunts just had the edge in the 2nd Half and goals from Matt H (3), Dave O (5) and Luke were enough for the win. Favourites Charterhouse looked off sorts as they took to the small pitch, missing one or two key players they were still favourites to overcome a Cunning Stunts team that have only won once this season but a brave and battling display proved enough as they used there experience of the small pitch to their advantage.

The Business had it all to do as they found themselves 5-1 down at half time with the in form Carlos scoring 6 goals for Drogs as they jumped to 2nd in the league. The Business has an uphill challenge ahead of them this season.

Inter Girls 2 vs 11 Millers Appeal League Cup
Millers Appeal booked there place in the 2nd round of the league cup with an emphatic win over 1st Division high fliers Inter Girls and will now face Cunning Stunts in the next round.
Mark Quinn was on fire in front of goal hitting a first half hat-trick. Inter Girls had the opposite problem, with top scorer Lee Konrath missing they lacked the fire power needed. Millers have a deadly looking partnership in Quinny and Amraj.

It was mainly League Cup games in week 6 and with the cup getting to the do or die stage it was the test of who could stand strong and move into the next round.

These two big guns faced each other for the second time in a row, ECCC looking for revenge for the 6-5 loss in there previous meeting and after a pulsating first half it could’ve been any teams victory with the scores level at 3-3, both teams continued to play excellent football in another excellent 2nd half but it was Excelsior who just managed to snatch it at the death to clinch victory and a place in the next round.
