Star caught in strip club!!!
             ECCC 6 vs 7 Excelsior

(Club Heat Cup)
In what was considered to be the battle of the day between these two big guns in the CLUB HEAT CUP, it was always going to come down to who kept there discipline. Both teams fought out a fantastic game, fast paced and at times end to end. Both Curtis for Excelsior and Rich S for ECCC are renowned for there aggressive approach to games and both showed glimpses of why people hate playing them but all credit to both teams as they kept it in check. Excelsior got off to the better start taking a 5-3 lead in at the break with some good goals coming from Curtis and Lil Dan. ECCC came back at them after the break and attacked them at every chance but it was Curtis who was the star of the show with 5 goals by the end with Lil Dan and Danny Bell scoring the others. The Iceman again having an excellent game in the sticks proving why he was voted player of the month,
.
Next Best Thing 4 vs 7 Wonderers

Wonderers put there earlier performance behind them with another excellent tactical win for The Wonderers. Next Best Thing’s goalkeeper was again beaten from range for the first goal from a Mike Free Kick, and for all the possession NBT had they looked fragile as Wonderers Counter Attacked successfully. Rich was causing problems all game for the NBT defence  and capped it off with 3 goals, and Simon in the Wonderers goal was also excellent. Kieran also added to his tally a further 2 goals with Paul and Steve also scoring. Neil Beckett(2), Dave and James getting the consolations.
Boys R Back 6 vs 2 Charterhouse Old Boys

With Boys R Back missing key player Brian Ndlovu it was the perfect chance for Charterhouse Old Boys to show they mean business, with some impressive displays of late they had every chance of causing an upset. Melusi though had other ideas and after a nervy start from both teams it wasn’t long before The Boys R back got into there usual ways, with some excellent one touch football and the quick passes Charterhouse found it hard to gain any kind of real possession to cause problems. It was Charterhouse though that scored first through Ian but Melusi quickly hit back with a fabulous goal himself, Jazz made it two minutes later before Muzzy’s younger brother gave them a 3-1 lead. Charterhouse found themselves 2nd to the ball on many occasions and resorted to some strong challenges to try and win the ball but as many teams in this division know it very rarely works against this opposition as Melusi once again used his quick feet to score his second.
The second Half saw the Boys R Back pretty much dominate, Charterhouse have yet to come up against opposition like this and will probably not relish the return leg too soon as Muzzy and his younger Brother both struck in the 2nd half for a more than convincing 6-2 win. Charterhouse Old Boys shouldn’t be too disappointed though as they are not the first team to be beaten by these and they certainly won’t be the last, and I’ve seen enough of them to know they are a more than capable team.
FC Your Mum 8 vs 7 Dizzy Tooters

FC Your Mum continued there impressive form on the night with another 8-7 win, again slightly against the run of play with FC Your Mums Cliff the busiest of the two Keepers pulling off a string of fine saves. The first half was an even half with the game being played at an excellent tempo but the Dizzys proved a handful in the 2nd Half and if it wasn’t for the impressive Cliff in goal the Dizzy’s probably would have snatched it. Goals from Gavin(4) and Bish(3) FOR The Dizzy tooters with replies from Frost(2), Will(4) and Chris(2).

FC Your Mum 8 vs 7 Millers Appeal

FC Your Mum jumped to 3rd in the CLUB HEAT PREMIER Division with a somewhat fortunate win over top of the league Millers Appeal. They found themselves 5-3 up at the break but it was Millers who dominated the half, they just didn’t have the cutting edge to finish off there opponents. The second Half was much the same with some sloppy defending from the Millers proving costly, a good fightback from them but wasn’t quite enough in the end. 5 goals from the in form Mark Quinn and 2 from Karl Asaba, with the winning goals coming from Will(4), Frost and Chris(3).
Mean Machine 5 vs 2 Inter Girls

Mean Machine put last weeks defeat behind them with a convincing win over 2nd placed Inter Girls. The goalscoring exploits of Lee Konrath  wasn’t enough this week to help Inter Girls as Mean Machines Daz, Vic Lee(2) and Mark(2) secured the win.
Sunshine 7 vs 9 Cunning Stunts

Cunning Stunts kept up there assault on the top of the table with a hard fought win, they certainly didn’t have it all there own way as Sunshine pushed them all the way. 4-4 at half time but Cunning Stunts just had the edge in the 2nd Half and goals from Matt H(3), Dave O(5) and Luke was enough for the win. Jordan(2), Kieran(2), Lewis and PJ(2) scored for Sunshine.

            Fifty7 FC 4 vs 6 Cyprus UTD

A close game between 2 of the favourites for the title ended with a good win for the Cyprus Boys, a very entertaining game with a good physical battle tied in too saw the spoils all square at the break, but the Cyprus International Andros was the key witth his 2nd half hat-trick to add to his earlier goal, plus goals from Alex and Alexis saw them keep there unbeaten run in tact. The loss saw Fifty7 drop down to 5th place though but they have 2 games in hand over the leaders.
STAR OF THE WEEK
This week the award goes to
FC Your Mum for their two wins that takes them to 3rd in the league.

The Goonies 12 vs 6 Cunning Stunts

Cunning Stunts were brought back down to earth with a bang as The Goonies are beginning to make people sit up and take notice. After a poor start to the season they have now hit fine goalscoring form scoring 31 goals in 3 games in particular Chris and Tim Partridge who scored 10 goals between them 4 for Chris and 6 for Tim with Pete Radburn getting the 2 remaining.
Wonderers 2 vs 4 Mozzies Army

Mozzies Army claimed there first win of the season in a game which saw 3 fantastic goals. Pat and Danny Gay for Mozzies Army both scored excellent goals to give them a 2-0 lead but Kieran outdid both with his wonder strike for Wonderers. Paul pulled a goal back for Wonderers but a 2nd from Pat and a simple tap in for Jake was enough to give Mozzies a well deserved first win.
Sweden FC 11 vs 2 The Business

One of the most one sided games I have witnessed for a while, all of Swedens outfield players got in on the scoring act and Adam and Ians own personal goalscoring wager seemed to be the only real talking point in this game, both only ending with a goal each in the end but it wasn’t for lack of trying form the pair. Ash, Gavin(7) and Dan scored the rest. The Business will definitely need to improve if they want to compete with the big boys.
Mean Machine 4 vs 5 Drogs Ballacks

Drogs Ballacks pulled off the performance of the night in the REDS 1ST DIVISION in an excellent battle from start to finish, it was end to end stuff and both teams didn’t hold back. 3-3 was the half time result, and a draw would’ve been a fair result by the close of play but some stunning goals in the game in particular from Brazilians Alan(2) and Carlos(3) who are always a danger with there long range shooting and set pieces. Dec(2) Vic and Daz scored for the Mean Machine, the end result in this game leaves the league wide open with a number of teams battling it out at the top.
Inter Girls 9 vs 7 Celtic IT Box

Inter Girls edged an improved Celtic IT Box with the win mainly down to striker and Player of the Month Lee K.
There were some real 'plum' ties this week and the games did not disappoint.......
