Wonderers 4 v 5 Millers Appeal
Millers Appeal jumped to the top of the Premier Division with this well fought win over The Wonderers, Amraj took all of 3 seconds to open the scoring. Millers continued to pressure and took a 4-2 lead at half time after a clanger from Goalkeeper Arfan gifted Wonderers some hope. Steve King for Wonderers showed he still has it with a superb second half performance which did include a penalty miss, but his effort couldn’t be rewarded as Amraj bagged a hat trick and another goal for Quinny.

Excelsior 11 vs 1 K.Kobras
Excelsior were without there in form goalkeeper Ian Clelland so manager Gav Lee took it upon himself to don the gloves and he didn’t disappoint. Excelsior to be fair dominated the game with considerable ease and found Keresley Kobras a little on the star struck side, they gave Excelsior far too much respect in particular the returning Curtis, who was man of the match with his 4 goals as he looked to put behind him his recent suspension. An own goal from Paul Price, 3 from Danny Bell and a goal each for Lil Ash and Lil Dan.
Sweden FC 7 vs 7Cyprus UTD
Sweden FC remained 5 points clear at the top only narrowly managing to salvage something out of this game against an under strength Cyprus UTD. Sweden FC found themselves in an unfamiliar situation going in at the break as they were losing 4-3 but managed to scrape back into it and took a 7-4 lead. The game was end to end and a tremendous fight back in the end from Cyprus UTD gave them a well deserved 7-7 draw.
Inter Girls 9 vs 4 Cold Beers
Inter Girls kept up there impressive recent purple patch with a good win, Lee Konrath once again the man in front of goal with a cracking 7 goals accompanied by Andy and Sean. Cold Beers were unfortunate as they put up a good 1st half display. Ben Isaac, Tom Murell and the ever impressive Stefan Gajewski (2) scoring the consolation goals.
Charterhouse O.B. 6 vs 3 Mozzies A
Charterhouse Old Boys took the spoils in there first outing in the Premier Division and fully deserved the win, they were solid at the back and quick with there passing, they look a very good side as they flew into a 3-1 lead at the break with goals from Ian (2) and Mark, they followed it up in the second half and another 2 goals for Ian followed by a cracking strike from Deano gave them all 4 points.
Cold Beers 7 vs 10Fifty7 FC
(Reds Shield)
Cold Beers all but ended any hope of progressing in this cup with there 3rd loss in the group stages. A plucky second half comeback wasn’t enough as they found themselves 6-2 down at the break. Stefan again on the score sheet with 4 goals, Ben Isaac scored 2 cracking efforts and Adam Hives also got in on the act. Fifty7 FC once again looked impressive going forward but somewhat light at the back but goals from Brett (3), Challum (2), David, Mark, John and 2 from Gary gave them the win.
Inter Girls 8 vs 12 The Goonies
The Goonies had a secret weapon in Chris Partridge, someone president Phil Richards will be all too aware of, as he dominated this game with an impressive 7 goals, George Hayden (2), Craig Wise and 2 from Tim Partridge gave The Goonies there first win of the campaign as Inter Girls looked a little dreary from there first game, Sean Steve and Lee Konrath (6) which takes his tally to 27 for the season so far scored for Inter.
Cunning Stunts 5 vs 7Celtic IT Box
Celtic IT Box under the management of Dennis found there first win of the season beating newcomers Cunning Stunts, a very even game with some excellent football being played, a draw would’ve been a fair result but goals from Dennis, Steve (2), Phil (2) and man of the match Hayden (2) gave them the edge in what must give them the confidence now to go on and emulate last season fine start
STAR OF THE WEEK
This week the award goes to Charterhouse Old Boys for their first win in their first game over a strong Mozzies Army.
Drogs Ballacks 3 vs 4Sweden FC
Sweden FC came up against probably there toughest opponents so far but came out on top thanks to goals from Dan(2), Ian and Ash but they were made to fight for it as Carlos(2) and Karl Asaba showed why they were called up for there first caps.
Millers Appeal 8 v 6 Dizzy Tooters
In the CLUB HEAT CUP group stages Dizzy Tooters were hoping for some success which they have yet to taste in the Premier League, they got off to the perfect start and led 4-2 at the break but after some woeful defending in the 2nd half and tiredness began to kick in Millers new signing Mark Quinn took full advantage and bagged 5 goals after missing 2 guilt edged chance in first half, he definitely looks a lot more comfortable playing regular football.
