This had to be the worst K.Kobras performance we have witnessed as they just folded under the constant pressure forced on by an efficient Next Best thing team gearing up for next weeks Cup Final. A man of the match performance from Steve coupled by his 6 goals have given them the perfect boost for there biggest game of the season.

FC Your Mum 5 vs 3Wonderers
Wonderers will feel a little disappointed with this result as they matched their opponents for the majority of this game, although they were 3-0 down at the break the score line didn’t reflect the overall performance as they struggled in front of goal. Wonderers made an excellent comeback in the 2nd half levelling at 3-3 thanks to some excellent team play and some sloppy errors by keeper Dave Johnson one of which the keeper let a snail’s pace shot slip through his legs and the clanger left the FC Your Mum owners thinking they must employ Luke ‘Maverick’ Maslin to give Dave some keeping lesson during pre season. However tiredness set into the creaky legs of the Wonderers stalwarts and the more youthful FC Your Mum cruised over the finishing line.

Mean machine proved they belong in the top flight with a well deserved win over there Premiership opponents, leading 6-4 at the break and then going on to dominate the 2nd half with goals from Dec(4), Michael, Lee(2) and Daz(2).

4Covs found themselves 11-0 up at the break and coasting, Wonderers seemed to have there eye on the all important league game against FC Your Mum in all fairness but were very slow to the ball as the enthusiasm of the young lads showed through.

Dizzy Tooters 2 v 5 Boys R Back
Dizzy Tooters again showed they are well above their current league standing with an excellent first half showing leading much of the half 2-1 before finally conceding a late equaliser. Unfortunately games aren’t won in one half and The Boys R Back again showed how dangerous they are on the counter attack with there fast breaks and quick one twos. Dizzies seemed destined now for the drop after this loss with only a miracle keeping them up.

Mozzies were much the more clinical and deadly in front of goal which was the difference between the two sides as Dizzy Tooters were slow out of the blocks and very rarely shifted up a gear. Mozzies firmly deserved the win.

RSVP 2 vs 1 Mean Machine

Mean machine suffered there first defeat in 16 games as RSVP played some excellent counter attacking football, they seemed happy to sit back and soak up the pressure and feeding Lee for the 2 goals. Mean machine just couldn’t find a way through the defence as RSVP just held on.

Inter Girls 6 v 7 Something Else

Something Else summed up there season as it comes to a close with another poor performance against 1st division opposition. Lee Konrath again proving perhaps he should be playing at a higher level with 4 goals and in particular a screamer for Inter Girls 3rd Goal. Something Else really do need to up there game if they are to win any silverware this season.

Both teams produced a fantastic game of football in this end to end action packed game. A very even game throughout that was only decided by a piece of luck in the dying minutes. Jordon once again proving his worth to the team scoring 5 goals along with his 3rd man of the match in as many games as he lit up the game with some excellent goals. Celtic had some moments of there own to and will be gutted to lose such a close game in the manner they did.
