Boys R Back 9 v 2 Wonderers

Wonderers used all there experience in a close first half, Wonderers got off the quickest after some sloppy defending by manager Jazz and Wonderers stuck to there task well limiting the Boys to only a handful of chances. They struggled to keep the Boys at Bay in the second half however, as Young Muzzy once again stealing the show with some nice attacking football, his youth and enthusiasm was enough to put the Wonderers to the sword.
Excelsior 5 v 5 FC Your Mum
Inter League Cup

Excelsior put behind them there earlier league defeat as they stormed into a 3-0 lead, only for the excellence of keeper Dave did the score only remain at 3 goals as he pulled off a string of fine saves to keep his team in with a chance. The second half saw Big Will and Chris step up and Chris once again showed why he is regarded as the best newcomer by most, holding the ball up and feeding Will 3 times in a row for him to score a second half hat trick to take the game to penalties. Once again FC Your Mum had the daunting task of beating the 6ft 3 goalkeeper Ian Clelland from the spot but failed twice as the big man became Excelsior’s hero again proving he’s No1 when it comes to penalties.
FC Your Mum 5 vs 3 Millers Appeal

FC Your Mum increased there lead over 5th placed Millers Appeal with a narrow win, both teams had chances to win the game and it was perhaps Millers Appeal manager Aggie that will come away feeling the more frustrated with his teams inability to convert chances into goals. Once again though Will and Chris stole the show with 2 goals apiece to secure the win and 4 valuable points in the race for 3rd spot.

Zion Knights 5 v 7 4Coventrians & A Scot
End Of Season Cup

4Covs again showed age doesn’t matter with another top notch display from the youngsters. Some nice passing football and some lethal finishing gave them a comfortable 5-1 lead at half time, they perhaps took there foot of the pedal a little in the second half which they will need to learn from, but an exciting looking team for the new season.
Another week and another round up of the CLUB HEAT Friday Leagues
S.Else 4 vs 10 Boys R Back
Club Heat Cup Semi Final

Boys R Back find themselves in another cup final with an annihilation of Something Else. From start to finish they were first to everything as Something Else just seemed to roll over and give up in a lacklustre display. Lil Muzzy in a league of his own as he ripped open the S.Else defence time after time and they did little to try and stop him. Must be the worst performance from Something Else this term.
K.Kobras 4 vs 6 Dizzy Tooters

Diddy Tooters made it two wins in there last two games as it was looking increasingly unlikely they were going to find a win from anywhere earlier in the season, but again the re emergence of some key players proved a genius move from manager Jim as his team dominated the second period to claim a priceless win in there attempt to beat the drop.
K.Kobras 7 vs 1 Drogs Ballacks
EOS Cup

The class in division showed in this mismatched game as Kobras controlled the tempo from start to finish and came away with the result that many had expected with 5 goals from Matty, and a goal each for Rusty and Nick.

Excelsior 3 vs 4 Next Best Thing
Club Heat Semi Final

Next Best Thing booked there place in the Club Heat Cup Final with a hard fought second half performance. With scores even at half time the game could’ve been won by either team. The earlier fixture for Excelsior looked like it was beginning to take its toll though as Excelsior looked tired towards the end and Next Best Thing took full advantage of that fact with a late late winner and in hindsight deserved the win.
