4Covs, playing in there first game on the big pitch showed what they are capable of, even with such a young team they look like they will pose a threat with a pacey attack and some nice one touch passing as they outplayed RSVP at times and were too quick, especially Rhys, fast and nippy. Look forward to seeing them tested against sterner opposition.

Boys R Back 9 vs 2 K.Kobras
Kobras took the early advantage storming into a 2-0 lead only for the skills of the ever improving young Muzzy to shine through as he took control of the game bagging 5 of his temas goals. A fully deserved win for Boys R Back as they continue what looks to be a title winning campaign, they were just too good on the night as Kobras struggled to contain the imaginative play we have all come accustomed to.

Inter took control of the re end of season cup encounter taking an early 4-0 lead, Celtic battled back in the 2nd half but left it a little too late as Inter managed to hold on with ease in the end and secure a comfortable win.

Millers got off to a flying start creating chance after chance but Amraj and Quinny just couldn’t seem to hit the back of the net. Big Steve Bolas defended superbly all half keeping the score level at the break, It was the introduction of young Waqquas (Bob) that changed the pattern of play in the second half as his energy and pace gave the Millers the edge they needed to run out comfortable winners in the end.

New Team Cup Friday Final
Mozzies Army will feel slightly aggrieved at there poor second half showing against the first division table toppers in a match they surely felt they could’ve won. A tightly contested first half saw some fast paced, end to end football in which Mean Machine just narrowly deserved the 2-1 advantage. The second half saw Mean Machine surge forward at every opportunity and Mozzies found them hard to handle as they looked to be tiring as the half wore on. And the pace and threat of Dec was always there as he bagged a hat trick. Mean Machine were delighted with the win in what many consider an upset as they proved they will more than handle there own in the top division.

Dizzy Tooters turned the form books around with a fine win. They looked the better team throughout and the half time score of 5-2 was a true reflection of the half. Pasquali scoring the pick of the bunch with a terrific goal. Dizzys re-introducing some old faces looked like the Dizzy’s of old as they out performed there opponents in every area of the pitch and fully deserved the win. Although Mozzies looked like scraping something with a slight comeback in the second half it would ve been an injustice had they got anything from the game.

Something Else kept up there slim hopes of catching league leaders Boys R back with a comfortable 11-2 win over a poor NBT team missing a few key players. The game was won in the first half as Dave Jones and Thommo both bagged two goals each taking in a 6-1 lead. Steve Reece was the man of the moment as he finished the game with 5 goals.

In the game of the night saw end to end football in which the winner was decided in virtually the last kick of the game. A pulsating game saw a fantastic come back from Sunshine as they found themselves trailing 10-4 at half time, but Inspired by top man Jordan they battle back to 10-10 before each team took it in turns to score, but Fifty7 just nipped it at the death as they seemed to have that little bit extra in the tank. Goals from mark(4), Jack(6) and Brett(2) saw off the excellent efforts from Kieron(2), PJ(3) and Jordan (6).

Being unable to finish in second spot, FC Your Mum are setting there targets on a top 3 finsih and took another step in the right direction beating Kobras in a game that was a little closer than the scoreline suggests. Leading by only 2 goals at half time they stretched there lead with some fine finishing that Kobras desperately lacked. Big Will again the goalscoring hero with another 5 goals to add to his ever increasing tally.
