Mozzies Army 4 v 6 Boys R Back

The Boys R back returned from a weeks rest and only narrowly managed the win. After leading by just the one goal at the break The Boys R Back found the going tough against a dogged Mozzies Army with a point or two to prove. Danny Gay proving a real handful throughout as he bagged a hat trick. The Boys R back though are always a threat going forward and once again their poise in front of goal was the key factor in this win, as the two Muzzies scored 2 goals apiece along with Melussi.
Drogs Ballacks 6 vs 7 The Goonies

The Goonies jumped to third spot, 6 points away from Second spot and only 7 from top with a game in hand over the leaders Mean Machine. The final showdown between the two is a mouth watering prospect. Drogs Ballacks put up a good fight though showing that The Goonies are vulnerable at the back sometimes especially against a fast attack as they pushed the title challengers all the way. The Goonies made hard work of finishing off their opponents as they wasted a handful of chances in the second half, but goals from Steve (4), Gordon (1) and Charlie (2) just about gave the 4 points they required.

Goes to The Goonies who kept their title hopes burning bright.
Manager Pete now knows a good goal difference improving win in his teams 19th game will leave them the simple equation of beating Mean Machine in both of the teams final league game of the season.
