As the season unfolds this was one more step on the long journey to glory.
Star caught in strip club!!!
ECCC looked to keep pace with the league leaders against an under strength Kobras team missing manager Olly. ECCC set the pace in the first half with some excellent keep ball, making the most of there passing ability they took a 3-1 lead into the break. Kobras were still in it but couldn’t make any waves as they struggled to cope in the 2nd half as ECCC eased into an 11-1 win. Goals from Swaffield (7), Potts, Lowley, Lee and Brady, who also missed a pen.

Next Best Thing vs Millers Appeal
Next Best thing have struggled of late, but with the players they have shouldn’t be where they are. Tonight’s game however didn’t do much for there confidence as they slumped to a 10-3 loss over the Millers, Karl Asaba was in fine scoring form as he seemed to score very shot he took, all 4 of his goals came from poor goalkeeping errors, Aggy (3) and Kuli (3) helped along too, Mark Quinn must be relishing the prospect of linking up with his new team-mates if rumours are to be believed.
Excelsior vs Dizzy Tooters
After a stuttering 1st game Excelsior got back on track, but they made hard work of it going 1-0 down and 2-1 down before finding there feet. They were lucky to be in front at the break as they missed the leadership at the back. James Brown and Lil Dan helped restore normality though after the break and ended up 5-2 winners, Danny Bell, Lil Dan(2), Quinny and James scoring the goals with a couple of replies from in form Gav.
FC Your Mum began the game with a 3-0 lead due to the Boys R Back turning up late, unfortunately it still wasn’t enough as the pace and skill of the former Shadows were too much and Melussi in particular was in superb form bagging 5 of the 8 goals in this 8-6 win. Brian scored the other 3.

Mozzies Army vs Something Else
Something Else kept up there winning form with a convincing 10-0 thumping of Mozzies Army. After an impressive draw against Excelsior some were expecting a tough outing for S.Else, but within minutes they were 2-0 up and coasting. Matty G wasn’t tested throughout the game and Dave Jones inspired from the back as well as scoring 4 goals.
Fifty7 FC vs Inter Girls
Fifty7 FC kept up the pressure on league leaders against Inter Girls who were still looking for the first win. Lee Konrath couldn’t do much but score his usual 4 goals but it wasn’t enough as Mark Andrews and his boys ran out 8-6 winners in a close encounter, Mark(2), Gary(2) Brett, John and Challum scoring the goals.
Charterhouse B vs Wonderers
The Charterhouse Old Boys played there very first game in a friendly against Wonderers and definitely looked capable of playing at this level, it was an even 1st half with the scores level at 1-1 but Charterhouse Old Boys took there chances in the 2nd period and won 3-1.
Drogs Ballacks vs Cyprus Utd
Carlos was in fine form again for Drogs but this time couldn’t manage to help them win, his 3 goals were bettered by Georges’ 4 goals as Cyprus UTD came out 6-4 winners, Andros scoring 2 also.
Drogs Ballacks vs Cold Beers Hot Women
Cold Beers must improve if they are to fulfil there early season expectations, unfortunately they just weren’t good enough on the night against an impressive looking Drogs Ballacks.
The 3 Karl’s, Karl Asaba, (2), Karl R (2) and Carlos (5) were on target with replies from Stefan G (2) and H.Brown (2).
This week the award goes to Millers Appeal for their more than convincing 10-3 win over the last seasons 4th place finishers Next Best Thing.
Sweden FC vs Sunshine
Sweden FC produced a fantastic performance which was pretty much all over by half time as they led 5-1, and Sunshine never looked like causing any real threat. Young Ash again proved why so many teams have been watching him with 5 goals and another man of the match award, Ian and Gav(3) scored the rest with Jordan, PJ(2) and Dean scoring the consolations.
The Business vs Inter Girls
Inter Girls finally got there first win of the season but it was only because The Business failed to show and lost the game 6-0
