RSVP 2 v 10 FC Your Mum

The big striker Will was the big difference in this one sided encounter scoring 4 goals, helped along by John(2), Chris(2), Maccie and Tevin as they dominated from start to finish and never really looked in danger of losing, a goal each half for RSVPs Nick Frost and Raff.
Celtic 4 vs 9 Sunshine

Two wins in a row for Sunshine (is this the same team????) again the returning Jordon proving the difference with his second man of the match award and another 3 goals, lets hope he continues until next season, Celtic looked lively enough but failed to score in the second half as PJ (3), Kieran, Luke, Dean and Jordon (3) all scoring the important goals.
Excelsior 5 vs 7 Next Best Thing

Next Best Thing set the tempo scoring early on and looking the better of the two teams, Excelsior looking to put last weeks loss behind them pushed forward but lacked that final touch in front of goal for a change, at the back too they looked below par as the usually solid Gavin Lee went missing at times. The first half was a close encounter finishing 3-2 to NBT but the second half was all about NBT’s finishing they had about 6 chances all half and scored 4 of them, Excelsior had a lot more but failed to hit the net once. The league challenge is all but over for now and it remains to be seen if we will see Excelsior back next season.

Mozzies Army 4 vs 9 FC Your Mum

FC Your Mum jumped to 3rd in the league after another comfortable display over a distinctly average Mozzies who at 5-1 down going into the break only really had pride to play for in the second half as Cliff(2), Will(2), John and Chris(4) put the game beyond any doubts with replies from Paul(2), Jake and Craig.
Another week and another round up of the CLUB HEAT Friday Leagues
The Goonies 9 vs 5 Celtic

The Goonies almost blew it after a dismal first half saw them go in 2-1 down, but a spirited second half comeback saw them run out 9-5 winners, perhaps looking at the table they were expecting an easy run out and took there opponents a little lightly. Again Gordon proving the match winner with another man of the match award and another 3 goals to his account with Charlie (2), Pete (2) and Andy (2) adding the rest. Paddy scoring all 5 for Celtic.
Next Best Thing 6 vs 2 K.Kobras
Club Heat Cup

Next Best thing fully deserved this win as they leap frogged Kobras in the group, James scoring twice early on for NBT before Johnny Wilkinson scored a cracking solo goal. Unfortunately they couldn’t keep up the late pressure in the 2nd half and Next Best Thing passed there way into a 6-2 lead with some nice one touch football. James scoring a hat trick with goals from Pete (2) and Steve.

Cold Beers 7 v 11 The Goonies

The Goonies are peaking at just the right time as they look to put the final touches on a fantastic couple of weeks that will see them win promotion to the top flight, if not as winners then as runners up. They continued there goal bonanza with a comfortable win in the end after making hard work of it in the first half. Once again Gordon Kenny showed his capabilities with a man of the match display along with 4 goals, also scoring was Pete(3), Charlie(2), and Wisey(2)
Fifty7 FC 6 vs 7 Sunshine

Sunshine picked up all 4 points for only there second time despite what the league tells us through no shows and teams pulling out they have won 7 games. They fully deserved this win though as they battled from start to finish and with the returning Jordon in super form scoring 4 goals and claiming the man of the match award they look like a good outfit, just a little too late now.
Dizzy Tooters 4 vs 13 Wonderers

Wonderers began the game very poorly as they found themselves 2-0 down after just 3 minutes giving the ball away sloppily. However once they got into the game they performed fantastically, knocking the ball about with ease and splitting the Dizzy defence on countless occasions, Steve the key as he rarely gave possession away and the finishing of Kieran was key finishing with 6 goals, Simon played his part in goal with some super saves in the second half.
Sunshine 3 vs 11 The Goonies

The Goonies kept up there slim hopes of the 1st Division title with another goal bonanza as Charlie(6) and Bhara(5) scored the goals that now puts them just 18 goals off clinching top spot with 4 games remaining.

Boys R Back 6 vs 3 Millers Appeal

Boys R Back kept up there unbeaten record against a poor Millers Appeal, Melussi once again finding the net on three occasions and was too much for the Millers defence to handle. Boys R Back will take some stopping on there recent showings and really can only lose the title themselves.
