ECCC 3 vs 2 Millers Appeal
Club Heat Cup
An excellent first half show of football from both teams as they passed the ball around with some nice fast one touch football, the half time score of 2-2 was probably a fair enough scoreline, but it was ECCC and Rich Lee in particular that upped the tempo in the 2nd half as Millers looked to be tiring but only the one goal from Rich Lee was enough to see them leap frog there opponents in the group stages.
Wonderers 5 vs 8 RSVP
The Wonderers started the game much the brighter team and Pete scored two wonder goals in the first half to give them a deserved lead, RSVP hit back though and used there pace to there advantage as they clawed a 4-3 lead at the interval. It was RSVP that took the 2nd half with James and Joe terrorising the Wonderers defence. James finishing with 2 goals and Joe bagging a hat-trick with Frost and Darren getting the rest. Pete (3), Mick and guest Quinny also scoring for the Wonderers.
The Goonies 5 vs 1 Sunshine
The Goonies kept up there assault on the league leaders with a comfortable win in the end, but they had to work hard for it as they only found themselves 1-0 up at the break. Gordon Kenney (2) and Tim Partridge (3) finally found form in the 2nd half with Jordon replying the only goal for sunshine
STAR OF THE WEEK
This week the award goes to N.B.T for their two fantastic wins over Dizzy Tooters and Mozzies Army scoring an impressive 21 goals and conceding only 7.
Inter Girls 9 vs 3 Drogs Ballacks
A surprising result for Inter Girls as Drogs had been looking to keep track with third place, it now looks like they might have too much to do for promotion but you never know. Inter Girls however will be very pleased with this performance as Steve, Jonathan (2) and prolific goalscorer Lee (6) helped with the goals.
FC Your Mum 2 Vs 5 K.Kobras
Club Heat Cup
FC Your Mum threatened from the off as they dominated possession and created plenty of chances, however they found themselves 3-0 down at the break, missing the influential striker Will proved there downfall.
Kobras had 5 real opportunities and scored 5 goals, that was the difference today. Nick (2), Matty (2) and Carl scored the goals with a brace from Lewis for FC Your Mum.
Another week and another round up of the CLUB HEAT Friday Leagues
Boys R Back 4 vs 2Mozzies Army
Mozzies Army should have found themselves leading at half time after an impressive first half performance saw them take the lead only to concede a sloppy goal in return, they were perhaps the better of the two sides and had plenty of chances to take the lead but for the ever impressive Kim who although is not getting any younger, still possesses a certain youthfulness about him. Chucksee almost lost them the game with his constant tricks that really didn’t work but Melussi once again got them out of trouble with a hat trick
Sweden FC 6 vs 4 Sunshine
Sunshine are slowly starting to creep back into form as they put up a cracking game against league leaders Sweden FC. Sweden went in 6-3 up at the break but then failed to score in the second half and really didn’t threaten much at all as PJ(2) and Jordan(2) attempted to get something out of a terrific second half.
Next Best Thing 10 vs 7 Mozzies Army
NBT continued there incredible night with another double figure win, which now sees them jump to 3rd in the league. Again it was Beckett (3), Pete (2) Ash (3) and James (2) that put Mozzies to the sword, and all this with an under strength team.
Next Best Thing 11 vs 0 Dizzy Tooters
Dizzy Tooters just don’t know what to do of late as they succumbed to this heavy defeat, they started off brightly causing some problems but once NBT settled they began to find the net at every attack taking a 6-0 lead into the break and then continuing in the 2nd period, Beckett (2), James (4), Ash and Pete (4) all getting on the score sheet and goalkeeper Wayne keeping his first clean sheet.
Mean Machine 9 vs 1The Business
Mean Machine remain in touching distance of top spot with this win in what was also a highly emotionally charged game which eventually erupted into some fisticuffs and some girly punches being thrown. Mean machine were 7-1 up at this point and with only 5 minutes remaining. The game was eventually restarted and Mean Machine took all 4 points and everyone was friends again at the final whistle.

Sweden FC 4 vs 4 Cold Beers
A frustrating game for manager Adam McBride and his younger brother Ash as they felt hard done by with one or two refereeing decisions, one of which saw Ashley receive his marching orders, and not for the first time this season, he will need to curb his over enthusiasm with the referees if Sweden are to gain automatic promotion this season. On the whole though it was an entertaining game which was evenly matched throughout as the half time score of 1-1 and the full time score of 4-4 proved. Adam L and the impressive Gave (3) scoring for Sweden with replies from Adam Johnson and M, Luckier(3) for Cold Beers who will be the more happier of the two teams after this result.
