K.Kobras took on newly promoted Wonderers in what could be described as a  must win game for both teams even this early in the season, Wonderers looked the better team on the ball but struggled to make any break through, Kobras took a 3-1 lead at the break and carried it on to win 5-3. Wonderers will feel slightly disappointed as they deserved at least a draw from the game. Goals from Nick Janda(2),

ECCC vs Millers Appeal
ECCC started there first league game back against a Millers Appeal looking to bounce back from a poor season, things got off to an awful start for the Millers though as they found themselves 4-0 down at the break, ECCC looking excellent in possession and with some strong challenges Millers found difficult to handle. They did manage a good comeback in the 2nd half though and pulled it back to 4-3 but with lack of attacking options without Scott couldn’t finish it off and eventually went down 6-3
Excelsior vs Mozzies Army
In Form Excelsior faced new team Mozzies Army and if they had done there homework would’ve known they were no easy ride, Excelsior got off to the perfect start with Quinny scoring on his league debut for Excelsior but it was Mozzies who stepped up and impressed the most going in 3-3 at the interval. Curtis was proving to be a handful for the Mozzies using his strength and power to cause problems but Danny Gay stuck to his task and did a good job on him before Curtis saw red for a wild tackle on Jake. Excelsior with a man down found themselves 7-4 down with not long left but a fantastic battling spirit saw them claw back for a 7-7 draw in an entertaining game.
The Boys r Back (Formerly the Shadows) struggled with the Next Best Thing as they outplayed them in the 1st half going in 2-1 up and looking like causing the first upset of the new season but they seemed to run out of steam and melussi scored a late free kick to give The Boys r Back a 4-3 win, a draw would’ve been the fair result.
Boys r Back vs Next Best Thing
FC Your Mum vs Next Best Thing
FC Your Mum premiership debut was supposed to be a very tricky opener for the Mum's and with only 5 players including new signings Dave Johnson. FC Your Mum looked a very good outfit as they outplayed  Next Best Thing with International stars Liam and Will both looking impressive with a hat trick a piece that helped their team to a 7-4 victory, Cliff scoring the other goal with replies from Dave(2) and James(2)
Mean Machine vs Celtic IT Box
REDS 1st Division favourites Mean Machine took on last seasons nearly boys Celtic IT Box and proved they definitely deserve the tag as favourites with a 12-0 demolition of the hoops. Lee (3), Mark (3), Daz (3), Vic (2), Dec scoring the goals
Mean Machine vs Drogs Ballacks
Two of the main contenders Mean Machine and Drogs Ballacks battled out a good fast game but it was Mean Machine that took all 4 points with a 7-4 win and lead the rest on goal difference, Mark, Vic(4) and Daz(2) hitting the net with the impressive Carlos(2) and Karl(2) scoring for Drogs.
Sweden FC vs Inter Girls
Sweden FC showed why many have predicted a top 2 finish for them with a dominant performance over Inter Girls, Adam looks to have assembled a good balance of youth and experience and it was the youngsters Ash and Gav that stole the show, Ash bagging 8 goals with Gav scoring the other 2 in a 10-5 rout, sharp shooter Lee (4) and Sean scoring for Inter Girls.
Fifty7 FC  defeated the 'businessmen' 8-6 in their 2nd game against the Business. Man of the Match Bret (2), Andrew (4) and Dave (2) scoring the all important goals in a good solid display. If they can keep it up and keep the players they will definitely be a threat come the end of the campaign.
Cyprus Utd vs Sunshine
Cyprus Utd looked to get there season off to a flier against the young lads Sunshine. Sunshine took them on and led 5-2 at the break, and looking good for there money, unfortunately they couldn’t keep it up and Cyprus UTD found a way back to level the game 8-8, Cyprus’ Alex(3), Andros(3) James and Darren scoring. Macks (2), Jordan (2), Luke, Lewis and PJ (2) replying.
Fifty7 FC vs Cold Beers Hot Women
Fifty7 FC vs The Business

Cold Beers Hot Women and 57FC are both teams that could cause an upset and featured in this entertaining first game, end to end stuff but it was 57FC that came out on top in both halves and narrowly won the game 6-5, goals from David, Andrew, John (3) and Bret with the ever impressive Stefan Gajewski (2) and Tom (3) scoring the consolation goals for Cold Beer.
This week the award goes to K.Kobras for their excellent 5-3 win over the experienced Wonderers.
