THE SEAGULL LEGACY
The return of Steve Reece to face his former employers was the highlight of this fixture and Andy Watts made sure he wasn’t going to have an easy time of it.
Shake n Bake scored first through Ash as he latched onto a long throughball to slot into the far corner.

Norfolk then wasted a good opportunity as Andy Watts Jnr  went close.
Shake n Bake were struggling to cope with Icemans quick and direct throw outs as he set up there equalizer for Scott to thunder in a shot.
Within 2 minutes the same move almost produced a second goal but this time Ginj produced a good save for Shake.
It wasn’t long before Norfolk increased their lead again through Scott as Iceman found Pete who in return picked out Scott with a sublime pass for him to ease the ball under the advancing goalkeeper.

Shake n Bake had chances of their own but was finding Ian “Ice” on top of his game as he seemed to be blocking everything, Steve Reece guilty of missing 2.
Scott secured his Hat trick with a somewhat fortunate goal as the keeper looked to have saved his shot only for it to cannon off his other foot and cross the line.
Pete Scimeca got in on the act just before the break with an excellent finish and should’ve had another just before the half time whistle when he missed a sitter.
Shake n Bake’s heads were dropping after a poor first half but early in the 2nd they found a glimmer of hope as Patty scored a free Kick that cannoned off the post and the goalkeeper before nestling in the net.
Patty then missed a sitter of his own when through on the keeper, forcing a good save.
Norfolk were now being pegged back and some lapse defending again allowed Patty free but again Iceman was there.

Norfolks defending was now non existent as Steve Reece pulled them to within one goal then Patty saw the post deny him the equalizer, Norfolk were poor in possession and it was Reeces turn to hit the post before slotting in the rebound.
Scott then went and equalized within 30 seconds, but it was all Shake n Bake now as they saw out the remainder of the game in control and took the win with goals from Jake, and Andy Watts own goal and a superb left footed strike from the inform Patty.
Definitely a game of 2 halves as they say.
