When a transfer is more than you think and a mind can not rest, the thoughts of destruction scan through that mind.... How a title never before won has the eyes of the world glancing in anticipation, While two teams unbeaten share the same goal.........
The time to shine, the time to prove your worth, a morale victory for some but for others just the satisfaction of
BAD INTENTIONS
UNDERCARD MATCHES

RSVP vs K.KOBRAS
FRIDAY 11th MAY - PREMIERSHIP
RSVP kicked off and almost immediately took the lead as James was found on the edge of the box but he somehow managed to miss the target.
The game started off lively with end to end football and it wasn’t too long before we had the first goal. Kobras Nick Janda hitting a good shot which Goalkeeper Simon Shiers saved brilliantly only he couldn’t hold onto the shot and Luke followed up with an easy finish in the end.
For all the good football on show there was no real threat being posed on either goal and what started off as a fast paced game was now becoming a little dour, both teams limiting each other to long range efforts that were going well wide. Keresley Kobras guilty of missing the easier chances, in particular Ollie and Nick wasting good opportunities to increase there lead and it was inevitable it would come back to haunt them as Ollie gave away a needless foul just before the break and Lee Konrath kindly obliged by blasting the resulting free kick into the back of the net.
Kobras restored there lead straight from the restart and it gave them a little boost as they began to take control of the game but once again the inability to score without Big Johnny Wilkinson and Matty was perhaps there downfall as Chris wriggled his way through the Kobras defence and put his low drive away into the bottom corner to level the game.
Kobras once again though pressed forward and there pressure paid off as Carl Pickup scored another goal in his new found position to give them a 3-2 lead. Kobras then sat back a little too early and instead of trying to kill off the game let RSVP come onto them and with players of Lee Konrath and Nick Frosts ability in front of goal is never a clever thing to do. And once again there lack of attacking options showed as Nick Frost fired a thunderbolt from just inside Kobras half to level the game again. A nervy finale to the game saw both teams with chances to win the game but it was Lee Konrath that sealed the win with a top drawer goal finding the top right hand corner with a cracking finish.
RSVP perhaps deserved the win in this even encounter as Kobras just lacked that goalscoring touch.
CITY SEAGULLS vs MOTLEY BARNETS Part II
Sunday 13th April - 1st Division
Team News...Both Teams were at Full Strength and it was announced before the start fleff would be starting.
City Seagulls
Vernon, Hallet, Rafferty, Barr, Frost, Konrath, Tse and Shady
Motley Barnets
Bateman, McDade, Dalton, Pickup, Wilkinson, Fletcher, Janda and Danny
This week in 5star land seen the resumption of one of the hottest feuds in Coventry five a side football. Motley Kobras I mean Barnets v The "Super Sonic" City Seagulls. The teams are no strangers to each other and this match is viewed by many as a local derby. Mark "Hornswoggle" Quinn described this game as a snoozefest earlier in the season at the revenge PPV - but the teams but on a display for the ages?
It was a cagy start with both sides not wanting to give anything away. The deadlock was broken by the Barrman who's fine strike whistled past Bateman into the bottom corner. Gulls remained on top but couldn't add that all important second and Jonny "Man Bag" Wilkinson made them pay as he turned quickly in the middle of the park then unleashed a fine shot which brought the sides level. The sides went into Half Time one apiece in a largely disappointing half.
After the break thing got more interesting as both sides knew the lights were on bright and it was time to put up or shut up. It was the gulls who took the advantage as inform striker lee konrath broke away and slotted his shot away to make it 2-1. But the Barnets struck back again through the great Jonny and we were level again at 2-2. Frost and Hallet combined to set up Konrath for his second of the game and gulls immediately had regained their advantage.
Then something genius happened Ray "Diego" Rafferty twisted and turned his way through the entire barnets team using maradonna like dribbling skills to score what must be a contender for goal of the season. Surely the seagulls had done enough to end the feud. Olly Darton didn't think so as he broke through the middle to slot away a rare goal for the defender, in which he bizarrely took off his top and he was overcame with pleasure, as the barnet shortened the lead to just one. Through dogged defending the gulls were able to hold out for an important win.
The gulls won by one goal at both PPVs. Surely this feud is one not of GREATNESS
